Sharing from Southern Luzon State University Main Campus
“Live not for the applause, but for the purpose. Serve not out of pressure, but out of love and passion. Change not just the system, but also the story. Because the world doesn’t just need more achievers. The world needs more humans—more hearts, more kindness, more empathy, and more hope. And you... you are now ready.”
In his heartfelt address during the 23rd Commencement Exercises of SLSU-JGE Tagkawayan Campus, Dir. Sammy A. Malvas, Regional Director of BFAR-R4A CALABAZON, reminded the graduates that true success is not always measured by medals or titles, but is found in choosing peace over pressure and impact over image. He urged them to serve with compassion, to lead with purpose, and to be the kind of person who becomes someone’s reason not to give up. His message was a powerful call to live with intention and humanity in a world that needs more heart.
