𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗦, 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲 (𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲) — Scouts from Lt. Edgar Foz National High School under the leadership of their Outfit Advisor, Scout Leader Stephen Guya Guzon and supported by their Head Teacher, Mrs. Christine Moises, participated in the unveiling of the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) Rice Paddy Art on Tuesday, an event honoring the life and legacy of the school's namesake, Lt. Edgar Foz, while highlighting the significance of agriculture in nation-building.

The ceremony brought together MMSU officials, faculty members, students, local stakeholders, and guests, including Ms. Kristine Foz, niece of the late Lt. Edgar Foz, to witness the unveiling of the rice paddy artwork—a tribute recognizing the hero's enduring legacy and the vital role of agriculture in shaping communities.

The Scouts represented their school with pride as they took part in the commemorative activity. Their participation reflected the Scouting ideals of patriotism, service, and leadership while fostering a deeper appreciation of local history and the contributions of Filipino farmers to national development.

One of the participating Scouts, Sct. Lady Mae Ramos, said the event strengthened her appreciation for Lt. Edgar Foz's legacy and the sacrifices made by farmers.

The event concluded with participants reaffirming their commitment to preserving the legacy of Lt. Edgar Foz and promoting greater appreciation for agriculture as a cornerstone of community development. For the Scouts of Lt. Edgar Foz National High School, the activity served as a meaningful learning experience that strengthened their commitment to service, leadership, and responsible citizenship.

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines proudly sends its eight (8) official youth delegates and two (2) adult leaders to the 16th Korea National Jamboree, taking place from August 5-9, 2026 in Seoraksan National Park, Gangwon Province, Korea.

We wish our delegates a safe and successful journey as they proudly carry the spirit of and make the entire Scouting community proud at the 16th Korea National Jamboree.
