NAVAL, Biliran - LGU Naval through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office held the Universal Children's Month Celebration today at the Naval Gymnasium under the theme "OSAEC-CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban."
πππ²π¨π« ππ«ππππ‘ππ§ ππππ©π‘ππ§π’π π. ππ¬π©π’π§π graced the event and expressed her joy in seeing the children's active participation, reaffirming her commitment to programs that support children's development and welfare.
The celebration brought together daycare children and their parents for a day filled with fun and learning. Highlights included singing and draw-and-tell contests that showcased the talents of our young participants.
SB Member, Hon. Ofelia Tabla-Espina also joined the event and thanked the parents for their active involvement in the day's event.
The Bureau of Fire Protection conducted an engaging discussion on child safety and emergency preparedness, with their mascot adding excitement to the program. The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) also shared valuable insights on disaster preparedness and the RESIKLO program. A video presentation on the BATAN-ON program was also featured.
To cap off the celebration, school supply kits were distributed to all children in attendance, ensuring they are equipped for their educational journey ahead.
