Tropical Storm is now intensifies in Philippines Sea. The estimated arrival of the storm in Borongan City, Eastern Samar with a sustained winds of 65/km. Right now it's in the West with a sustained wind of 10km/h. PAENG is forecast to reach severe tropical storm category within 24 hours and may intensify into a typhoon by Saturday.

We are still monitoring! Since it's a fast moving typhoon. Just expect strong winds, coastal storm surge. So get your go bags prepare.

August 5,2022 Tropical Depression Warning:

Affecting Albay; Samar,Eastern Visayas; Cebu, Biliran, & Leyte.
Maximum winds:45kph (may fall to signal no.1 category 30-60kph). Under this condition scattered rainfall, moderate, to heavy or intense rainfall are likely. After 24 hours rain-induced Landslide and flooding are likely to happen, specially to the areas that are highly susceptible to these hazards as identified in the hazard maps, and with antecedent history of landslides and flashfloods.
The public and the DRRM members concerned are advised to take all
necessary measures to protect lives and properties. Rainfall Warning Alert and weather update will be released today at 11:00AM.
