SK Sabang Wraps Up Week 2 of Kids Summer Clinic with Successful Volleyball Culmination
NAVAL, BILIRAN โ The Sangguniang Kabataan Sabang oficially concluded the second week of its ongoing Kids Summer Clinic today, May 22, showcasing grassroots volleyball talents at the Sabang Sports Complex.
The intensive five-day volleyball program, which commenced last Monday, May 18, provided localized athletic training to neighborhood children aged 7 and above. The initiative closed with a Grand Culmination activity featuring full-court game simulations and defensive ex*****on drills, demonstrating the structural progress of the trainees over the course of the week.
To sustain the program's technical standards, the SK Council tapped an equipped volleyball trainer to facilitate the daily two-hour training.
The weeklong training prioritized technical fundamentals, including the proper receiving platform, setting accuracy, underhand serving, and active team communication. The program continues to operate under the current SK administration's Sports for All framework, aimed at maximizing the impact of local youth development funds by prioritizing direct, skill-based inclusive clinics over traditional, seasonal tournaments. At the close of the afternoon session, all participants received official recognition for their completion of the program.
