ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 10

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 135, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 10, 2026, in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Benguet
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro
📍 Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Ayon sa latest weather bulletin ng PAGASA, magtutuloy-tuloy ang malakas na buhos ng ulan sa National Capital Region ngayong araw.

Dahil dito, SUSPENDIDO na po ang FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES sa LAHAT NG ANTAS ng mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Lungsod Navotas ngayong araw SEPTEMBER 9, 2026 (Miyerkules).

Alinsunod po ito sa DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026. Lilipat po ang lahat sa alternative delivery modes (ADM) - online, asynchronous, o modular learning.

Maaari na pong sunduin ng mga magulang at guardian ang kanilang mga anak sa paaralan. Gayunman, kung malakas pa ang ulan, hinihikayat po natin ang lahat na manatili muna sa loob ng paaralan at hintaying humina ang ulan bago bumiyahe.
