Batinao Elementary School LOCATED AT THE HEART OF BATINAO, NEW BATAAN.DAVAO DE ORO about school

=Education for All=
School year 2025-2026 stands as a powerful reminder that the Department of Education continues to uphold its commitment that no child is left behind, regardless of condition or situation.

Batinao Elementary School, under the leadership of School Head Dwight Mangaliwan , together with the teachers of Batinao ES, proudly salutes the programs and support of DepEd. Through these efforts, learning extended beyond the classroom and turned an almost impossible dream into reality.

For years, one learner was confined to bed, silently hoping for a chance to see the world outside. With the support of the New Bataan District and the Division of Davao de Oro, a wheelchair was provided, opening not just a path for mobility, but a doorway to hope.

After three long years, the child finally stepped out of the house, saw life beyond the walls, and most importantly, attended graduation. It was more than a ceremony, it was a breakthrough, a victory, and living proof that education can reach even the most limited spaces when compassion leads the way.

Indeed, this moment proved that with unity, dedication, and heart, even the smallest step can become a life-changing milestone.

The day of your despedida may have already passed, but the joy still lives on. The short program, the laughter, and the boodle fight we shared will always bring back smiles to your hearts. Thank you to Sir Dwight Mangaliwan, our school head and the teaching and non-teaching staff of Batinao Elementary School for making it special. May this memory stay with you as you move forward, dear Grade 6 learners.

School Year 2025–2026 officially concluded on March 31, 2026, marking the end of another meaningful chapter filled with growth, collaboration, and shared success.

As we gathered for our Year-End PTA Meeting, we looked back with gratitude and pride on the accomplishments we had achieved together throughout the year.

It has always been a meaningful practice to present and reflect on these milestones—programs, projects, and activities that have significantly contributed to the development of our learners and the continuous improvement of our school. More than the achievements themselves, that moment allowed us to recognize the people behind every success.

Indeed, a plan remained just a plan without individuals and organizations who were willing to turn it into reality. Every accomplishment we celebrated that day was a product of collective effort, dedication, and genuine support. For this, we extended our heartfelt appreciation to all of you.

We expressed our deepest gratitude to the Jaso Family for their generous donation of land to the school—an extraordinary act of kindness that opened more opportunities for the children of the Batinao community to reach their dreams. We also extended our gratitude to the BLGU, led by Hon. Lalyn Bag-ao Lorono, and to the MLGU, under Mayor Bianca Cualing-Brua, for their continued support and commitment to our school.

To our PTA Officials, led by Mrs. Teresita Mendoza Lavente, as well as our parents and stakeholders, your presence and support inspired us to do more.

To our School Head, Sir Dwight T. Mangaliwan, for his dedication and tireless efforts in improving the school and ensuring that the needs of our learners were met.

To our teachers, for their passion, sacrifices, and love for every child.

And to our non-teaching personnel, thank you for your valuable assistance in school operations, reports, and daily tasks, your work was truly appreciated.

The school year may have ended, but the impact of our shared efforts will continue to shape the future of every Batinao learner.
=Padayon kita—together, we will continue to build dreams and provide quality education for all.=

The Department of Education continues to embody its commitment to every learner through acts of compassion and sincere care.
One meaningful moment happened on March 18,2026 when Doc Gr**go John F. Pelaez and Nurse Karen Catabuna visited one of our learners under the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM).
For a long time, our learner has been unable to walk and has stayed lying in bed since Grade 3. Now in Grade 6, the desire to keep learning remains strong despite the difficulties.
During their visit, the doctor conducted a health check and, together with Nurse Karen, provided groceries and vitamins, gestures that brought comfort and renewed hope.
More importantly, their support has sparked a new beginning. With a wheelchair soon to be provided, our learner will have the opportunity to continue studying and finally attend graduation with pride and happiness.
=Moments like this remind us that true service in education is measured by the lives we uplift, and indeed, no learner is ever left behind.=

National Women’s Month 2026

Our school proudly joins the nation in celebrating National Women’s Month this March 2026. This celebration recognizes the important role of women in shaping our families, schools, and communities.

We honor all women—especially our teachers, mothers, staff, and young girls—who show strength, dedication, and compassion every day. Through their guidance and leadership, they inspire the next generation to dream, learn, and succeed.

Let us continue to promote respect, equality, and empowerment for every woman and girl in our school community.

Happy National Women’s Month! 💜

= Engagement Beyond the Crown =

Valentine’s Day, observed every February 14, is widely known as one of the most popular days for engagements, a moment when promises are made and futures are planned, inspired by the enduring story of Saint Valentine. It is a celebration not merely of affection, but of commitment.
Yesterday, our school echoed that very meaning through the celebration of the King and Queen of Hearts. While it may appear as a simple coronation of titles, its deeper significance lies elsewhere. The event stood as a powerful reminder that true progress in education is built on engagement, not just symbolic, but active and purposeful involvement.
The crowns placed upon the heads of our young royals represented more than honor. They symbolized unity. They reflected the collective effort of parents, stakeholders, teachers, and community members who continue to stand beside the school in every endeavor. Engagement, after all, is not limited to February 14. It is demonstrated through participation in activities, support for projects, and belief in a shared vision for our learners.
As a school community, we recognize that every successful plan is realized not by one, but by many. And for that, we extend our sincere gratitude. Your continued partnership transforms ideas into action and aspirations into achievements.
Indeed, the King and Queen of Hearts celebration was not only about wearing crowns,it was about strengthening commitment. And with a community that remains engaged, the future of our learners is bright.

=Cold Thursday: Rain, rain, go away but learning is here to stay!=
Even as heavy rains poured throughout the day, Batinao ES learners proved that nothing can wash away their dedication to education. While classrooms were quiet, homes became spaces of growth and discovery through our Asynchronous/Modular Learning Modality.
The weather may have changed our setting, but it never changed our mission. With guidance from our teachers, tasks were completed, lessons were understood, and learning continued without delay.
= Storms may come and go but the passion to learn always stays.=
