Due to its remoteness the last time the PNP personnel of Caluya Island was visited by its Regional Director was some thirteen years ago.

On Thursday, 16 May I had the chance to join my husband when he visited the police force of the island. Located even further from the northernmost tip of Antique, Caluya is considered a first-class municipality due largely to the income it derives from Semirara Mining Corp. Semirara is one of the barangays that comprise Caluya.

Other barangays are not as developed and progressive as Semirara,though.

We were given the chance to bring PRO6 Share God's Blessings activity to those communities who are not as lucky and fortunate.

Seeing the smiles 😊 and happiness in their faces was more than enough to make the long and tedious journey to Caluya so fulfilling and so worth it ... ❤
