Nueva Valencia CDP Updating Culminates with Final Activity!

The Nueva Valencia Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) Updating has successfully concluded its activity today, November 13, 2025, as scheduled in its Work and Financial Plan for 2025.

Today's session centered on the orientation of the Planning Team regarding the CDP process and data forms to be accomplished by the five key sectors - Social, Economic, Infrastructure, Environment, and Institutional. The discussion was led by Ms. Lynette P. Urquiola, Cluster Head of DILG Guimaras, while Ms. Charity May G. Jancorda, Planning Officer III of PPDO Guimaras, presented the alignment of the CDP with other municipal and provincial plans.

Mayor Emmanuel C. Galila expressed optimism that the plan will be completed on time, alongside other development plans slated for updating in the municipality.

The activity concluded with a shared commitment from all team members to provide the necessary data and to ensure that the upcoming CDP Updating activities in 2026 will run smoothly and with active participation from everyone.
