Trinidad, the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Desk - MENRO Oas assisted in collection and proper disposal of garbage gathered during De-clogging activity conducted by Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction And Management Office (MDRRMO OAS) at barangay Iraya Norte, Iraya Sur and Rizal, as part of their continuous effort to maintain clean waterways and prevent flooding in the community.

As part of its continuous effort to maintain clean waterways and prevent flooding in the community. The operation focused on clearing canals and drainage systems of accumulated debris, silt, and other obstructions that may hinder the proper flow of water.

Trinidad, the DENR EMB-R5, in coordination with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) Oas, conducted an ocular visit and inspection as part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen solid waste management practices in the LGU of Oas.

This action aimed to assess the current implementation of solid waste management programs, evaluate compliance with environmental regulations, and identify areas for improvement to ensure proper waste segregation, collection, and disposal. The team also reviewed existing facilities (MRF's) and discussed strategies to enhance efficiency and sustainability in waste management operations.
