Trinidad, In celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month, the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) actively participated in the Clean-Up Drive Activity conducted by the OAS Municipal DRRM Office at Brgy. Ilaor Sur and Centro Poblacion, in collaboration with the barangay officials and community volunteers.

This collective effort highlights the importance of maintaining clean surroundings, preventing flooding, and promoting environmental responsibility as part of building a more resilient and disaster-ready community.

Thru the Leadership of Hon. Mayor John Kenneth M. Trinidad, the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) conducted an ocular inspection in various Urban barangays in Oas to monitor the status operation of Materials Recovery Facilities (MRFs), garbage collection activities, and the presence of uncollected waste in designated area. Also coordinated with Barangay Officials to strengthen and maintain proper solid waste management practices within their respective communities.

Trinidad, In celebration of Philippine Environment Month 2026, the DENR-EMB Region V successfully conducted an Information & Educational Campaign and Coastal Clean-Up Activity at Maramba, Oas, Albay. The activity was actively participated in by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), Philippine Coast Guard, Barangay Officials and ERT Costa, demonstrating the power of collaboration in promoting environmental awareness and preserving our coastal resources.
Together, we continue to inspire communities to practice responsible waste management, protect our marine ecosystems, and build a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.

Thru the leadership of Hon. Mayor John Kenneth M. Trinidad, The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Desk - MENRO Oas assisted in De-clogging activity conducted by OAS Municipal DRRM Office (MDRRMO) on selected urban barangays including Iraya Norte, Iraya Sur and Rizal.

As part of its continuous effort to maintain clean waterways and prevent flooding in the community. The operation focused on clearing canals and drainage systems of accumulated debris, silt, and other obstructions that may hinder the proper flow of water.
