OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT | PRESIDENTIAL SUCCESSION

Following the resignation of Monica Andrea M. Rama as SAMAPULA President, the SAMAPULA Commission on Elections hereby announces and recognizes the succession of Mx. Michael James M. Gumobao, incumbent Internal Vice President, to the Office of the SAMAPULA President.

Pursuant to Article XX, Section 1(a) of the 2022 SAMAPULA Constitution, the Internal Vice President shall automatically assume the Office of the President for the unexpired portion of the term.

The succession takes effect in accordance with the applicable provisions of the 2022 SAMAPULA Constitution.

SAMAPULA officially announces the resignation of our dearest President, Monica Andrea Rama. Her unwavering service and dedication will always be treasured by SAMAPULA and the Political Science community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for her guidance and hands-on leadership throughout her term.

To ensure the continuity of service, Michael James Gumobao will serve as Interim President until the position is formally filled.

We thank Monica for her service and wish her all the best in her next journey. ❤️‍🔥
