𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧

July 29, 2026 | The GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) of the Municipality of Odiongan, particularly the GAD Monitoring and Evaluation Team and Facility Managers, discussed the parameters for evaluating LGU-managed public toilets and conducted initial visits to assess the cleanliness, maintenance, safety, functionality, accessibility, and gender-responsiveness of public toilet at the Municipal Plaza, Covered Court, Commercial Center, Children's Paradise, and at the Public Market. The Monitoring utilized Observation Logs that assessed whether facilities are functional, well-maintained, and safe.

The monitoring is ongoing and aims to identify areas for improvement .The GFPS sincerely thanks 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. On 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, a Technical Meeting with GAD Project Proponents was conducted at the 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝘄𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 to discuss the status and reporting of implemented Gender and Development (GAD) Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs).

The meeting served as a venue to provide updates on the implementation of GAD PPAs, share feedback from participants and beneficiaries, and orient proponents on the accomplishment and submission of activity and project reports using the prescribed DILG reporting template. Discussions were also held on other concerns related to the monitoring, documentation, and reporting of GAD initiatives.

The GAD Office would like to thank all project proponents and participants for attending the meeting and contributing to the discussions. Your cooperation and support are important in ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of GAD programs and activities.

𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

On 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the Gender and Development (GAD) Office conducted a coordination meeting with representatives from the Budget, Accounting, Treasurer’s, and Supply Offices at the 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝘄𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹.

The meeting focused on discussing the status of submitted GAD proposals and the utilization of GAD funds, including the review and reconciliation of records on approved proposals, fund obligations, disbursements, and budget utilization. This collaborative effort aims to strengthen transparency, accountability, and effective monitoring of Gender and Development Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) of the Local Government Unit.

The GAD Office extends its appreciation to all participants for attending and contributing to the discussion. Thank you for your continued support in the implementation of GAD programs and activities.
