The ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐จ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž, together with representatives from the ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐•๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐Œ๐š๐ฒ๐จ๐ซ, conducted a monitoring and assessment visit to the Patoo LUWAY Association to evaluate the assistance provided through the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP). As one of Odiongan's emerging social enterprises, the association continues to transform local resources into sustainable livelihood opportunities while creating positive social impact for its members.

The visit provided an opportunity to assess the progress of the project, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that the assistance received continues to empower the association toward long-term sustainability. Through continued collaboration and support, we remain committed to strengthening community-based enterprises and advancing inclusive local economic development in the Municipality of Odiongan.

The ๐Ÿ๐ง๐ ๐๐ฎ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐Œ๐ž๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐“๐š๐ญ๐š๐ค ๐’๐„ ๐Ž๐๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ ๐š๐ง ๐‚๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐œ๐ข๐ฅ was successfully conducted with the active participation of council members representing the local government, national government agencies, cooperatives, MSMEs, people's organizations, the academe, NGOs, and private sector partners. The meeting was further strengthened by the presence of ๐‡๐จ๐ง. ๐‘๐จ๐ ๐ž๐ซ ๐. ๐…๐จ๐๐ซ๐š, ๐‰๐ซ., Municipal Mayor and Chairperson of the Tatak SE Odiongan Council, whose continued support reaffirms the Local Government Unit's commitment to advancing social enterprise development in the municipality.

The Council reviewed the progress of the Tatak SE Strategic Plan, discussed updates on priority social enterprise initiatives, and identified key actions to strengthen partnerships, expand livelihood opportunities, and prepare for upcoming programs, including the celebration of Social Enterprise Week 2026.

Through unity, innovation, and strong leadership, Odiongan continues to build an inclusive and sustainable social enterprise ecosystem that empowers communities and promotes the Tatak SE: Ato Kali Industries Program as a catalyst for local economic development.

The Homebased Industries Manufacturer's Organization (HIMO), in partnership with the Tatak SE Odiongan Council and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), successfully conducted the Meeting and Reorganization of MSMEs under the Social Enterprise Awareness and Development Program of Tatak SE: Ato Kali Industries. The activity was attended by 40 representatives from various MSMEs in the Municipality of Odiongan. Discussions focused on the concept of Social Enterprise, the proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for MSMEs and People's Associations, and the benefits of HIMO membership, including market linkages, business support services, training opportunities, and enterprise development initiatives.

This initiative aimed to evaluate the organizational status, governance, project implementation, financial management, and sustainability of community-based organizations while identifying opportunities for growth and development.

The assessment revealed both the strengths and challenges faced by our farmers and fisherfolks, particularly in the areas of capitalization, market access, climate resilience, and enterprise sustainability. More importantly, it highlighted the immense potential of many associations to evolve into sustainable social enterprises that create economic opportunities while addressing community needs.

The results of this assessment will serve as a foundation for future programs, capacity-building initiatives, and strategic interventions that will empower organizations, strengthen local enterprises, and contribute to inclusive and sustainable development in Odiongan.
