Conducted a coordination meeting today with Major Ramon Fernandez, Officer-in-Charge of the Civil Security and Service Unit (CSSU-Olongapo), to discuss proposed safety and security measures aimed at maintaining peace and order and ensuring the safety of vendors, customers, and personnel at the James L. Gordon Avenue Market and Mall.

Revving up the spirit of creativity and community, here are the official mechanics and guidelines for the much-awaited DYIPNI FESTIVAL GRAND PARADE!
Let us all showcase our uniquely crafted jeepney - themed floats this coming December 30, 2025.
DYIPNI FESTIVAL GRAND PARADE
OFFICIAL MECHANICS AND GUIDELINES
I. General Participation Guidelines
1. Eligibility
• The parade is open to all business establishments, private companies, community groups, and non-government organizations (NGOs).
• Participants must submit the completed application form on or before December 23, 2025.
2. Entry Requirement
• Each participating group must present a Jeepney-themed float.
• Floats may be created using:
a. An existing jeepney decorated or converted for parade use, or
b. A truck or other vehicle modified into a jeepney figure
• All floats must be safe, roadworthy, and visually representative of the Dyipni theme.
3. Design Restrictions
• Fireworks, pyrotechnics, or any form of open flame are strictly prohibited.
• Anti-government messages, political propaganda, or offensive/derogatory statements are not allowed.
II. Float Dimensions and Technical Requirements
4. Vehicle Size Limitations
• Maximum Width: 12ft. / Maximum Height: 12 ft.
5. Safety Compliance
• All electrical components (ex. lights/speakers) must be safely installed and properly insulated.
• Each float must be equipped with 1 functional fire extinguisher, easily accessible and properly mounted.
III. Assembly and Line-up
• All participants must assemble on December 30, 2025, at 9:00 AM at their designated assembly area.
• Float inspection will be conducted before the parade starts; non-compliant floats may be prohibited from joining.
• Parade line-up will be determined by organizers; all participants are expected to follow the designated order.
