IN PHOTOS | Duty personnel of Olongapo City Fire Station spearheaded by FCSUPT ALDWIN M SALAZAR- Regional Director, BFP R3, under the supervision of FSSUPT JEANNETTE D JUSAYAN, DSC - Provincial Fire Marshal - Zambales, and with the guidance of FCINSP NERCITA B DELOS SANTOS, Acting City Fire Marshal, successfully conducted the first day of the Modern Firefighting and Lithium-Ion Battery Fire Response Training.

The orientation served as an introduction to the training objectives, highlighting the importance of modern firefighting techniques, fire safety awareness, and appropriate response strategies for incidents involving lithium-ion batteries. Participants were also oriented on the importance of coordination, preparedness, and teamwork in addressing emerging fire hazards.

This training aims to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and readiness of fire personnel and local responders in handling fire emergencies safely and effectively, particularly those involving modern technologies and battery-related risks.

The successful conduct of Day 1 marks an important step toward building a more capable, coordinated, and responsive firefighting and emergency response community in Olongapo City and the province of Zambales.

In line with the 7-Day Mode of Activities, every Tuesday is dedicated to the conduct of office inspections to maintain a safe, secure, and well-organized working environment. These inspections are undertaken to ensure proper office management, reduce unnecessary electricity usage, prevent unauthorized or excessive operation of office equipment, strengthen workplace safety measures, improve operational efficiency, and promote responsible resource management.
