ICYMI | The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Zambales Provincial Office, through the Negosyo Centers – Olongapo and Subic Bay, monitored NGCP beneficiaries in New Cabalan, Gordon Heights, and Old Cabalan, Olongapo City on October 14 & 16, 2026.
The monitoring aimed to assess their progress and ensure that the livelihood assistance continues to support their income-generating activities and promote sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Trade-Industry Development Analyst (TIDA) Cathlyn Oledan and Business Counselor (BC) Adrian Melanio, together with CSWD Admin Officer Ms. Erlyn Esteban, visited 30 beneficiaries who received Sari-Sari Store and Bigasan Livelihood Packages.
During the visits, the team observed that most beneficiaries had replenished their store inventories. At the same time, some had expanded their offerings to include vegetables, fruits, and even hog raising as an additional livelihood activity. These developments reflect the beneficiaries’ continued efforts to sustain and diversify their income-generating activities.
