As we embark on a new chapter in our journey towards a culture of excellence. SOUVENIR MAKING CONTEST
“Isang Produkto, Isang Olongapo”

One of the significant identities a successful City must necessitate, is the need to adopt an emblem that will spot the distinctiveness Olongapo must epitomize;

In celebration of the Olongapo Cityhood 2023. In honor and salute to the triumphs of Olongapo in being One of the Highly Acclaimed Urbanized Cities of the nation;

The birth of the “Isang Produkto, Isang Olongapo” was then considered to be one of the answers the requisite aspires. The Isang Produkto, Isang Olongapo, is a memento making contest effecting a constructive meritorious item Olongapo as depicted as a whole;

MECHANICS

1. Open to all participants that must create a design depicting and portraying Olongapo City in one identity, that is promptly OLONGAPO CITY; that can be into products, handicrafts, food or the likes.

2. Entries must be originally made by the crafter, no copyright/no-infringement policy is to be observed;

3. Only one entry from any of the given choices mentioned above is permitted.

4. All entry products will be displayed at designated booths on selected establishments, such as dept stores, hotels, beaches and souvenir shops within Olongapo City.

5. In case of a tie score, upon the deliberation of the Judges, the designated Chairman of the Board of Judges will decide, the basis on which will be on the relevance of the entry to attach its authenticity and originality;

6. Display and selling of Entries will run from April to December 2023;

SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES

-All participants must submit their original design entry respectively and the deadline will be on April 2023;

-In submitting entries, a participant must at least have with him/her a large quantities of the entry for display and selling purposes;

-Entries must be submitted in a neat packaging labelled and covered for its protection;

-Entries must be submitted with an inclusion of a separate sheet of paper describing the composition of the entry;

Judging:

-Judges will be representatives from the City Government of Olongapo, and invited Honorary Guests from different agencies concerned;

-Judging Date will be on December 2023 ;

-Ten entries will be branded as the Official Olongapo City Souvenir;

-JUDGES decision is final and unappealable.

CREATIVITY 30%
SALEABILITY 30%
VISUAL IMPACT 10%

TOTAL 100%

OTHER CONCERNS:

-Top Ten Best Souvenir items will be assisted with the DTI regarding with the patent clearance, other participants that didn’t entice the taste of the jurors will also be entertained upon the crafter’s decision and approval.

Prizes:

-Ten out of all entries will receive P15,000.00 each, as starter fund for their valuable effort in joining the search for Isang Produkto, Isang Olongapo, memento/souvenir making contest.

-Additional Cash Incentive of P10,000.00, will then be given to the entry that is considered as the Most Saleable souvenir item, to be accumulated from April to December 2023;
