The SBMA Ecology Center together with CDG Pacific Consolidation, Inc., Hyundai Philippines, Jobin Sqm., Inc. and Northern Palawan Power Generation, Corp. attended the 46th National Annual Convention and General Assembly of the Pollution Control Association of the Philippines, Inc. or PCAPI, held in Puerto Princesa City, focused on advancing innovative and equitable environmental solutions for a sustainable future. The convention theme:

“Supercharging Innovative Strategies with Equitable and Nature-Based Solutions for a Brighter Future.”

Key Gist / Highlights:

* Gathered environmental leaders, DENR-EMB officials, pollution control practitioners, industry representatives, and sustainability advocates from across the Philippines.
* Emphasized the importance of:
* Nature-based solutions in addressing climate change and environmental degradation;
* Equitable and inclusive environmental governance;
* Strengthening compliance while moving toward proactive sustainability practices;
* Integrating innovation, resilience, and ecological stewardship into organizational systems.

The choice of Palawan as venue also highlighted the province’s global reputation for biodiversity conservation, eco-tourism, and environmental stewardship, aligning strongly with the convention’s sustainability agenda.
