Nutrition Month Culmination 2026

The Nutrition Month Culmination was successfully concluded on July 25, 2026, at Salawaga, Tingalan, Opol, Misamis Oriental, bringing together the community in promoting the importance of proper nutrition, healthy living, and active participation.

The celebration was filled with fun, creativity, and learning through the Poster Making Contest, Cooking Contest, Nutri Jingle Competition, and Nutri Costume Competition, showcasing the talents and enthusiasm of our participants.

This successful event would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the Barangay Council of Tingalan headed by Hon. Christy Mae Siarot-Ogabang, the Sangguniang Kabataan Council headed by Hon. Rey John Talampas, and the dedicated Barangay Functionaries led by Barangay Administrator Ms. Irene Masin.

Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to all our generous sponsors, volunteers, judges, teachers, parents, and everyone who contributed their time, effort, and resources in making this celebration a meaningful and memorable success.

The 13th Regular Session of the Tingalan Barangay Council was successfully conducted on July 6, 2026, at the Barangay Hall of Tingalan, Opol, Misamis Oriental, under the leadership of Punong Barangay HON. CHRISTY MAE A. SIAROT-OGABANG.

The session served as a venue for discussing and deliberating matters concerning barangay governance, ongoing programs, development initiatives, and resolutions aimed at promoting the welfare, progress, and best interests of the community.

July 6, 2026| The PNP BISOC-02-013-R10-2026-044, headed by Team Leader PAT JUN RYAN G. QUIPANES, extended its assistance during the Feeding Program for the enrolled learners of the Tingalan Child Development Center.

Through this meaningful activity, the PNP personnel generously shared their time and effort in support of the nutrition and well-being of the children. Their unwavering commitment to community service reflects the true spirit of bayanihan and strengthens the partnership between the Philippine National Police and the people they serve.

The Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) Committee Meeting was successfully conducted under the leadership of Hon. Christy Mae A. Siarot-Ogabang, Punong Barangay of Tingalan, to discuss and strengthen the barangay's initiatives in promoting a drug-free, peaceful, and safe community.

The meeting was attended by the Philippine National Police (PNP), Opol Municipal Police Station, headed by PMAJ Antonio Y. Luy Jr., COP, together with PNP BISOC Class 02-013-R10-2026-044, whose presence and support further reinforced the commitment of all stakeholders in addressing illegal drugs through collaboration, prevention, and community-based programs.
