On August 29, 2026, the OCC Responders continued their Emergency Response Training with the support of Opol DRRM. As we prepare ourselves for the upcoming Kabaya Festival, the training focused on CPR, checking blood pressure and pulse rate, rescuing patients in need, and practicing proper techniques for safely lifting and carrying patients during emergency situations.

Through continuous hands-on training, we continue to strengthen our skills, teamwork, and readiness to respond effectively and serve the community whenever our assistance is needed.

On August 22, 2026, the OCC Responders continued their Emergency Response Training with the support of Opol DRRM. As more new members join the organization, the training provided an opportunity for both new and existing responders to learn and strengthen their practical emergency response skills, including proper bandaging techniques, safe lifting and carrying of patients, and other hands-on exercises.

As we continue to grow as an organization, we remain committed to equipping every responder with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to provide immediate assistance and serve the OCC community.

On August 17, 2026, the OCC Responders joined the celebration of Opol Community College's Foundation Day 2026. The event provided an opportunity for the organization to showcase its mission, activities, and commitment to serving the school community, especially in providing immediate assistance to students and individuals experiencing sudden illness or requiring emergency response.

We are grateful to the many students who registered and participated in our activities during the celebration. Their enthusiasm and interest in the organization brought new energy to the OCC Responders, and we hope that they will continue to grow with us and remain committed to the spirit of service.

We are also deeply grateful to everyone who supported and voted for the OCC Responders. Your trust and support helped us receive 1st Place in the Students' Choice Award. This recognition belongs to everyone who continues to believe in and support our mission.

On August 15, 2026, the OCC Responders continued their Emergency Response Training with the support of Opol DRRM. The training included physical fitness exercises, various bandaging techniques, and hands-on CPR practice to strengthen the respondersโ€™ ability to provide immediate assistance during emergencies.

Through continuous training and practical exercises, the responders continue to build their confidence, teamwork, and readiness to respond effectively when their service is needed.

On August 8, 2026, the OCC Responders conducted an Emergency Response Training with the support of Opol DRRM, who led the training and guided the responders through various practical exercises. The activities included physical fitness training, checking blood pressure (BP) and pulse rate, and practicing proper techniques for safely lifting and carrying an unconscious or incapacitated patient.

Through these hands-on activities, the responders strengthened their readiness, teamwork, and practical skills needed to respond effectively during emergencies and serve the community with competence and dedication.

Today, the newly elected officers of the OCC Responders gathered for their first officers' meeting to discuss the organization's direction, upcoming activities, and plans for the succeeding months. The meeting also served as an opportunity to assign responsibilities, strengthen teamwork, and encourage active participation as the officers begin their term of service.

Opol Community College participated in the 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on March 12, 2026, together with DRRM Opol, OCC Responders, KALASAG, OCC ROTC, CSG, and SBO.

The activity featured various earthquake response simulations, highlighting the skills and readiness of OCC Responders , Kalasag and OCC-ROTC in emergency response and rescue operations.

Promoting preparedness, coordination, and awareness to ensure the safety of the entire school community.
