The personnel of Balanga City Jail, led by JCINSP FRED A PAYAP-A, Warden recently paid a courtesy meeting with HON. JOSE ENRIQUE S GARCIA III, Governor of the Province of Bataan and HON. RAQUEL FRANCIS GARCIA, Mayor of Balanga City.

The meeting served as an avenue to discuss the ongoing programs and initiatives of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), particularly those aimed at strengthening the welfare, rehabilitation, and overall condition of our Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

Both parties also explored possible collaborations and partnerships that will further enhance support systems, improve facilities, and create more opportunities for the development and reintegration of PDLs into society.

The Balanga City Jail extends its sincere gratitude to Governor Jose Enrique S. Under the leadership of JCINSP FRED A. PAYAP-A, Warden, five (5) Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) successfully received their PhilHealth IDs during his recent dialogue session with them, after we receive the ID from PhilHealth Balanga.

The activity highlights the continued commitment of the administration to ensure that PDLs have access to essential government services, particularly healthcare benefits under PhilHealth. Through open dialogue and meaningful engagement, he reaffirmed the institution’s dedication to promoting the welfare, rights, and well-being of those under its care.
