📚 𝙍𝙀𝘼𝘿 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙒𝘼𝙔 𝙊𝙐𝙏 (𝙍𝙔𝙒𝙊) 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 📚

On December 15, 2025, under the leadership of JCINSP FERDINAND G MALABO, Acting Provincial Jail Administrator, BJMPPO-Bataan, JCINSP ABRAHAM B LAZARO, Chief Operations and Administrative Section, attended the “Read Your Way Out” (RYWO) Monitoring and Evaluation at Bataan District Jail- Male Dormitory

The activity was conducted by Dr. Jane Garner of Charles Sturt University (Melbourne), together with officials from BJMP DWD NHQ, UNODC, the National Library of the Philippines, and the Balanga City Library.

📖 𝙍𝙔𝙒𝙊 is a BJMP–UNODC initiative that allows Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) to earn GCTA through reading and educational programs, promoting literacy, rehabilitation, and personal growth.

The visit highlighted the importance of jail libraries in transforming lives and strengthening partnerships for the reformation and development of PDL.
