"Ormoc City Police Station 5 Conducted PNP Checkpoint"

Ormoc City Police Station 5, August 30, 2026 – In a continued effort to enforce the law, prevent and control crime, and ensure the safety and security of the public, Ormoc City Police Station 5 personnel, led by PLT ZAIDA A AMAMANGPANG, OIC, conducted a PNP checkpoint along the road of Brgy. Dolores, Ormoc City.

The checkpoint operation, which took place on August 30, 2026, was a proactive measure designed to deter criminal activities and maintain peace and order within the community. The Ormoc City Police Station 5 remains committed to safeguarding the public through consistent and rigorous enforcement and also conducts dialogue with motorists who are hesitant to pass through the checkpoint.

Ormoc City Police Station 5 personnel led by Pat Gerald Kempis, Patroller, under the supervision of PLT ZAIDA A. AMAMANGPANG, Officer-In-Charge, conducted "dialogue/pulong-pulong" regarding safety tips, anti-terrorism, anti-illegal drugs campaign, RA 11313 Safe Spaces Act or Bawal Bastos Law and likewise giving of Police Station 5 hotline numbers in case of emergency to the residents of Brgy. Dolores, Ormoc city on August 30, 2026.
The activity aimed to strengthen collaboration and partnership between the Philippine National Police and barangay officials in maintaining peace and order, enhancing public safety, and addressing community concerns.
