Gipahibalo sa Ormoc City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) nga dili na kinahanglan nga mo adto sa Palo, Leyte ang mga studyante nga taga Ormoc aron mo-avail sa Educational Assistance.

Matod ni CSWD officer-in-charge, Maribel Gucela, nakadawat sila karon og impormasyon nga naa ra'y schedule sa payout sa Ormoc City.

"As per information from DSWD region, no need na mo adto sa Palo for the educational assistance kay naa ta schedule sa Ormoc. Naay schedule for coordination meeting, mo ari ra sa Ormoc ang taga DSWD, mo-message ra sila when mo ari. Please disseminate para di sila mahinayak adto sa Palo" matod ni Gucela

Base sa guidelines, ang mga makadawat mao kadtong mga studyante sa elementary, high school, senior high school ug college.

Ang mga studyante nga maka-avail dapat;

✅ Wala nay ginikanan
✅ Anak og OFW
✅ Walay trabaho ang ginikanan
✅ Anak sa PWD
✅ Anak of solo parent
✅ Biktima sa krisis sa giyera
✅ Biktima sa kalamidad
✅ Biktima sa pag-abuso
✅ Anak og HIV patient

Ang studyante sa elementary makadawat og 1,000; ang high school 2,000; ang senior high school 3,000 ug ang college 4,000.

Para sa gusto mag-avail, andama ang inyon enrollment certificate ug school ID. Ang ginikanan nga mo uban sa bata dapat dunay 2 ka photocopy sa ilang valid ID.

Ang satellite office sa DSWD sa Ormoc mo-cover lang sa mga lungsod sa kwatro distrito sa Leyte (Albuera, Kananga, Matag-ob, Palompon, Isabel ug Merida).

Matod ni Gucela, ang studyante ning mga lungsora pwede mo-apply diri sa Ormoc satellite office. l via JKDP

Orientation on the Basic Rights and Privileges for PWD new mebers and renewal at Ormoc City Persons with Disability Affairs Office dated today August 19,2022. Mr. Joey Philip P. Fiel the PWD Program coordinator discussed the PWD Programs and services and Mr. Felicidad Camay discussed also the usage of PWD ID and booklet.

The PWD district Implementors from District 1-6 with OCPDAO staff conducted a meeting August 16,2022 at OCPDAO on update of PWD members per barangay and district level concerns and Mr. Joey Philip P. Fiel the PWD Program Coordinator facilitated and presided the meeting after that we proceeded to radio station DYRG for the promotion of the programs and services of the said office.

Mr. Lucas Gerondio, one of our PWD Member and currently working in LGU Ormoc , a grade IV students under advisories Teacher Francisca Marielle Y. Miole , already graduated on June 27, 2022 at Ormoc City SPED Integrated School.

Look! The Ormoc City Person's with Disability Affairs Office was participated the LGU Night. The event had dance presentation from
Cluster 1- Cluster 10 represented by different Department. Also, the best entertainment performed for Ormoc City, Wacky Kiray and was celebrated His 44th birthday with us.
The event was held at Ormoc City Superdome.

The Ormoc City Person's with Disability Affairs Office Staffs and PWD Federation Officers live yesterday at DYAJ Power 90.3 FM radio station, Ormoc City. It was discussed the plugging of the PWD Programs and services and stated the different highlight activities for upcoming 44th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week 2022.

Look : The Ormoc City Person's with Disability Affairs Office conducted Partnership/ Stakeholders Meeting for our PWD's upcoming event next Month of July for the 44th National Disability Prevention Rehabilitation Week 2022 (NDPR). PWD Program Coordinator Sir Joey Philip Fiel is with Engr. Elmer G. Palmitos, DPWH , Ms. Ethel E. Bernardo , Kiwanis Club of Geo, PWD Federation President Mr. Joel Amistad, DepEd Ms. Maria Pia B. Chu, and such Office : CYDO, ECLIPSE INC., CMO, Congressional Office, PESO, CHO, CSWD, ORCHAM, OCPO, SP Councilor, SM Center Ormoc , TEAM , Local Government Unit of Ormoc and PDAO Staffs. This Partnership Meeting is done today, June 14, 2022 at CSWD Annex Building, Function Room , Ormoc City.
