𝗟𝗜𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗗

The City College of Ormoc Library successfully concluded the Library Instruction and Database Workshop 2026 (LIDW 2026) today with the conduct of 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟮: 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, held via Zoom through both morning and afternoon sessions.

The final leg of the workshop was enriched by the expertise of our distinguished resource speakers from 𝐂𝐄 𝐋𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜, 𝐈𝐧𝐜., 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐋. 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐮𝐳, who provided comprehensive demonstrations and practical guidance on effectively navigating the library's subscribed online databases. Their insightful presentations equipped participants with valuable research skills and techniques for maximizing the use of these digital resources in academic work.

The City College of Ormoc Library extends its heartfelt appreciation to the administration for the continued support of the library's activities. Huge thanks also go to our resource speakers for generously sharing their knowledge and expertise, and to all the participants whose active engagement and enthusiasm contributed to the success of this year's workshop.

As we conclude LIDW 2026, we encourage everyone to continue exploring and utilizing our print and online resources to support learning, teaching, and research.
