📢 IMPORTANTENG PAHINUMDOM: ADUNA NA KITAY AFRICAN SWINE FEVER (ASF) SA ATONG PALIBOT

Maayong adlaw sa atong mga ka-barangay, labi na sa mga nag-atiman ug nagbuhi og baboy. Gusto namo ipahibalo nga aduna na karon mga kaso sa African Swine Fever (ASF), busa mas importante pa gyud nga atong hatagan og dakong pagtagad ang kaluwasan ug kahimsog sa atong mga alagang baboy. 🐷❤️

👉 MAO KINI ANG AMONG PAHINUMDOM: PALIHOG IPA-REHISTRO ANG INYONG MGA BABOY SA ATONG BARANGAY.

📌 LIBRE RA ANG PAGPAREHISTRO — WALAY BAYRANAN.
Dili kini pamaagi aron pabayron mo, kundili usa kini ka importante nga lakang aron ma-monitor nato ang gidaghanon, lokasyon, ug kahimtang sa mga baboy nga giatiman sulod sa atong barangay.

Sama sa among kanunay nga pahinumdom, palihog ayaw hulata nga adunay problema una pa magparehistro. Mas maayo nga daan pa lang, kompleto na ang atong records aron mas dali nato mahatagan og hustong aksyon ug tabang kung adunay mahitabo nga kaso o pagduda sa ASF. 📝🐖

⚠️ IMPORTANTE KAAYO:
Ang mga baboy nga wala ma-rehistro sa atong Barangay mahimong dili nato mahatagan og Barangay Certification kung gikinahanglan kini alang sa pagbaligya, pagbalhin, pagbiyahe, o uban pang legal nga transaksyon nga may kalabotan sa inyong baboy.

Dili kini aron pahirapan ang atong mga magbababoy. Kini usa ka preventive measure aron maprotektahan ang tanan. Kung adunay ASF, ang sakit mahimong mokaylap ug dali sa mga baboy, ug kung walay husto nga monitoring ug record, mas lisod nato mahibal-an kung asa gikan, asa nakaabot, ug unsaon pagpugong sa pagkaylap niini.

🐷 ATONG HINUMDOMON:
Ang usa ka rehistradong baboy = mas sayon ma-monitor.
Ang husto nga monitoring = mas sayon ang pagresponde.
Ug ang hustong pagresponde = mas dako ang posibilidad nga maprotektahan nato ang atong mga alagang baboy ug panginabuhian. ❤️

🙏 Busa, among gihangyo ang tanang nagbuhi og baboy sa atong barangay nga magparehistro sa inyong mga baboy sa Barangay Office. Libre ra kini ug gamay ra nga panahon ang inyong igahin, apan dako kaayo ang tabang niini sa pagpanalipod sa atong komunidad.

A wallet and car key were found by one of our dedicated Barangay Tanod, Reylinda Camus. The items are currently kept safely at the Sitio Sto. Niño 1 Tanod Outpost.

If you believe these items belong to you, you may claim them at the Sitio Sto. Niño 1 Tanod Outpost. To ensure that the items are returned to their rightful owner, please bring valid proof or any information that can confirm that they belong to you.

Uban sa tugot mismo ni Ma’am Letecia Binoya, among gipost kini nga video aron mahatagan og klaro nga impormasyon ang publiko bahin sa nahitabo.

Sa video, personal nga gipatin-aw ni Ma’am Letecia ang tinuod nga panghitabo ug iyang giila nga adunay sayop nga impormasyon sa iyang naunang post. Iyang gihangyo usab ang nakapost nga mangayo og pasaylo sa Barangay ug sa mga miyembro sa Barangay Council.

Among gipakita kini nga video dili aron makig-away o makapakaulaw kang bisan kinsa, kundili aron mahatagan og hustong pagpasabot ang publiko ug malikayan ang dugang nga sayop nga impormasyon.

Gipahibalo ang tanan nga adunay Project JOSEPH: “Utanon Kada Balay and More”, nga nagtumong sa pag-promote sa food security ug sustainable livelihood sa atong komunidad. 🌱🏡

Kini nga kalihokan pagahisgotan sa orientation kabahin sa proyekto, implementation guidelines, ug kit distribution process alang sa mga benepisyaryo ug interesado nga mga residente.

Gi-awhag ang tanang Barangay Officials, residents, community leaders, ug ilabina ang mga interesado sa pagpananom nga motambong sa maong orientation aron makadawat og importanteng impormasyon ug mahimong kabahin sa programa.

Hands-Only CPR Kiosk

August 11, 2026

On August 11, 2026, Barangay Macabug conducted a Hands-Only CPR Kiosk in partnership with the HEMS team. The activity was attended by barangay officials, health workers, volunteers, and community members who actively participated in the learning session.

The program formally began with an invocation, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the Ormoc City Hymn. A welcome message was then delivered to acknowledge the presence of the HEMS team, barangay officials, and participants. The activity highlighted the importance of community preparedness and awareness, especially in responding to emergency situations.

During the Hands-Only CPR Kiosk, the HEMS team demonstrated the proper procedure for performing hands-only CPR and explained the appropriate steps to take when a person suddenly collapses or experiences a medical emergency. Participants were given the opportunity to observe the demonstration and practice the proper technique under the guidance of the facilitators.

The activity provided the participants with practical knowledge and increased their confidence in responding during emergency situations. It emphasized that knowing basic life-saving skills can make a significant difference while waiting for professional medical assistance to arrive.

Overall, the Hands-Only CPR Kiosk was successfully conducted through the cooperation of the HEMS team, barangay officials, volunteers, and community participants. Barangay Macabug expresses its sincere appreciation to the HEMS team for sharing their knowledge, skills, and expertise and for helping strengthen the community’s preparedness and ability to respond during emergencies.

Date: August 11, 2026

On August 11, 2026, the Environmental and Natural Resources Office (ENRO) conducted a visit to the barangays that were provided with electric tricycles (e-trikes). The activity was carried out to facilitate the installation of official stickers on the e-trikes, ensuring proper identification and recognition of the units provided to the participating barangays.

The ENRO team coordinated with the concerned barangay officials during the installation process. The activity also served as an opportunity to check and document the e-trikes as part of the barangay’s efforts to support environmentally friendly and sustainable transportation initiatives within the community.

After the installation of the stickers, a photo opportunity was conducted together with the Punong Barangay Bernardino Edgar T Camus and the Sangguniang Barangay Members (SBMs). The activity was successfully completed through the cooperation of ENRO and the barangay officials, highlighting the continued partnership and support for programs promoting environmental sustainability in the community.
