Summer Reading Tutorial Culmination Program 2026
Yesterday, the Ormoc City Public Library proudly celebrated the successful culmination of its 16-Day Summer Reading Tutorial Program 2026, marking the end of a meaningful journey dedicated to empowering young minds through literacy, learning, and personal growth.
Throughout the program, our learners embraced the joy of reading, developed essential skills, and gained confidence that will continue to guide them in their educational journey. More than just a reading initiative, this program served as a platform for inspiration, growth, and the discovery of each learnerβs potential.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated Summer Tutor Teachers β Ms. Ritchel Dumosmog, Ms. Charish Mingao, and Ms. Beverly Sioc β for their unwavering commitment, patience, and passion in nurturing our learners. We also sincerely thank the Houseparents for their invaluable support and encouragement throughout the program.
This achievement would not have been possible without the generosity and partnership of our valued stakeholders. We express our heartfelt appreciation to Balay Paglaum, headed by Ms. Maegan Q. De Los Santos and represented by Ms. Faith Sunday De Los Santos; Lingap Center, headed by Ms. Babylin Hanopol; and Central Ormoc Bay Eagles Club, Inc., headed by Mr. Michael Stephen Sacay. Your dedication to supporting literacy and youth development has made a lasting impact on the lives of these young learners.
We are likewise honored and grateful for the inspiring message shared by Hon. Carmen Jean T. Rama. Her words of encouragement reminded our learners of the importance of education, perseverance, and believing in their dreams, making the celebration even more meaningful.
Most importantly, we congratulate all our learners for successfully completing the program. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and determination to learn have been truly inspiring. May the knowledge, skills, and values you have gained continue to guide you as you reach for your goals and embrace new opportunities.
As we celebrate this milestone, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting literacy and creating opportunities that empower children to become confident readers, lifelong learners, and responsible members of the community.
