The Ormoc City Fire Station โ€“ Emergency Medical Services Unit (BFP-EMS) conducted a Basic First Aid Training (BFAT) to the staff of BJMP Male Dormitory, Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), and the On-the-Job Trainees (OJTs) from Sto. Niรฑo of Ormoc College.

The training focused on strengthening emergency preparedness, enhancing basic first aid knowledge and skills, and ensuring prompt and appropriate medical response during emergencies.

The activity highlights the commitment of BFP-EMS personnel to promoting emergency preparedness and providing reliable emergency medical services for the safety and well-being of the community.

Personnel of the Ormoc City Fire Station conducted simultaneous practical exercises under the Fireground Readiness and Skills Program, putting their firefighting skills, teamwork, and decision-making to the test.

The activity was followed by an After Activity Review (AAR), where the team reflected on their performance, shared lessons learned, and identified areas where they can continue to improve.

Training is more than just a requirementโ€”it is a commitment to being ready when our community needs us most. At the Ormoc City Fire Station, we continue to train, learn, and work together to provide a fast, efficient, and dependable emergency response.

It was a celebration of talent, teamwork, sportsmanship, and friendship as the personnel and athletes of Ormoc City Fire Station proudly represented our station during the BFP Region 8 Sportsfest 2026.

Under the supervision of FCINSP ZARDOZ V ABELA, City Fire Marshal, our athletes gave their best, competed with heart, and showed that beyond our duties as firefighters, we can also come together, support one another, and celebrate each other's achievements.

A special congratulations to FO1 Cloie Anne Sulla and FO1 Rodry Rojas for proudly representing Ormoc City Fire Station as candidates for Mr. & Ms. BFP 2026.
