The Municipality of Oton was honored to welcome PESO Managers from different provinces of Region VI for an inspiring Enterprise Tour!
With the warm welcome of Mayor Sofronio L. Fusin Jr., Vice Mayor Jose Neil P. Olivares, and the officials of the Municipality of Oton, our guests were given a glimpse of the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit and proudly local products of Ogtonganon entrepreneurs.
Municipal Administrator Ms. Ma. Diadema T. Vigo delivered the welcome message on behalf of the Mayor. The tour featured Bongโs 8, a beloved local food enterprise known for its delicious arroz caldo and siopao. Engr. Elaine S. Geroche shared the inspiring success story of Bongโs 8, highlighting the journey, challenges, and growth of the local enterprise.
Meanwhile, Ms. Ara Marie Eraldo presented the DOLE Livelihood Program, showcasing how government livelihood initiatives help empower local entrepreneurs and create sustainable opportunities for communities.
The group then proceeded to the Buk-anโs Food Manufacturing Plant, where they explored the enterpriseโs products and services and gained a closer look at its operations and entrepreneurial journey.
The Oton Entrepreneursโ Association (OIA) also proudly showcased souvenirs under the One Town, One Product (OTOP) program, giving our visitors the opportunity to discover, support, and take home a piece of Otonโs local craftsmanship and entrepreneurship.
It was wonderful to see our guests enjoying and purchasing products made by Ogtonganon entrepreneurs. Their support helps strengthen local businesses and highlights the rich entrepreneurial potential of Oton.
