𝐏𝐂𝐆–𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀 𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐄𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐎𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍-𝐔𝐏 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄

The Coast Guard Station Misamis Occidental (CGS MISOCC), under the leadership of 𝐋𝐓𝐉𝐆 𝐉𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐄𝐋 𝐂 𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐂𝐆, Station Commander in partnership with the 1002nd Coast Guard Auxiliary Squadron, led by 𝐀𝐔𝐗 𝐂𝐃𝐑 𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐅. 𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝐂𝐆𝐀, together with CGSS Ozamiz and OPCON Units, conducted a Coastal Clean-Up Drive at Cotta Beach, Brgy. Triunfo, Ozamiz City, on 28 August 2026.

The activity brought together PCG personnel and PCGA members in a shared effort to keep the shoreline clean, protect the marine environment, and promote environmental responsibility among coastal communities.

Together, we continue to work toward cleaner shores, healthier seas, and safer coastal communities.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: The Coast Guard Station Misamis Occidental (CGS MisOcc), under the leadership of 𝐋𝐓𝐉𝐆 𝐉𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐄𝐋 𝐂 𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐂𝐆, Station Commander, conducted afternoon Calisthenics at Cotta Beach, Barangay Baybay Truinfo, Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental, today 27 August 2026.

The activity aimed to promote physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, camaraderie, and operational readiness among CGS MISOCC personnel, while strengthening their commitment to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: The Coast Guard Station Misamis Occidental (CGS MisOcc) and its Sub-Stations participated in a TI&E on Sewage and Garbage Management, today 26 August 2026 at the CGS MisOcc Conference Hall, Cotta Beach, Ozamiz City. The activity was presided over by 𝐏𝐎𝟏 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝 𝐑 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐲𝐨 𝐏𝐂𝐆, POIC, MEP-ERG, who discussed proper sewage and garbage management, marine environmental protection, and compliance with 𝑴𝑪 𝑵𝒐𝒔. 03-25 𝒂𝒏𝒅 04-25.

The TI&E aimed to enhance the knowledge and awareness of CGS MISOCC and Sub-Station personnel on responsible waste management and the protection of the marine environment.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: In observance of Ninoy Aquino Day, Coast Guard Station Misamis Occidental (CGS MISOCC), under the leadership of 𝐋𝐓𝐉𝐆 𝐉𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐄𝐋 𝐂 𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐂𝐆, Station Commander, along with its sub-stations, conducted 𝑩𝒂𝒚𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉 𝑷𝒂𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒔 in various beach resorts and coastal areas throughout the Province of Misamis Occidental.

Coast Guard personnel maintained a visible presence along the coastline to monitor sea conditions, assist beachgoers, and ensure prompt response to any maritime or water-related emergencies.

As more tourists are expected to visit coastal areas during the holiday, CGS MISOCC remains committed to protecting lives and ensuring a safe, secure, and enjoyable coastal experience for both residents and visitors.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: The Coast Guard Station Misamis Occidental (CGS MisOcc) and its Sub-Stations participated in a TI&E on the DR System and Roles of Leaders on 19 August 2026 at the CGS MisOcc Conference Hall, Cotta Beach, Ozamiz City. The activity was presided over by 𝐂𝐏𝐎 𝐄𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐁. 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐂𝐆, CMAA, CGS MISOCC, who provided guidance on the proper understanding and application of the topics.

The TI&E aimed to enhance personnel’s knowledge, promote compliance with established policies and procedures, and strengthen their competence and readiness in performing their duties and delivering effective Coast Guard services.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: Coast Guard Station Misamis Occidental (CGS MISOCC) conducted its monthly meeting at CGS MISOCC, Brgy. Baybay Triunfo, Ozamiz City, today 17 August 2026.

The meeting focused on updates on current operations, upcoming activities, and other important matters concerning the station. It also aimed to strengthen coordination and teamwork among personnel in support of the Philippine Coast Guard’s mission and responsibilities.
