The Department of Agrarian Reform Region X proudly congratulates Secretary Conrado M. Estrella III for being recognized as the Top-Performing and Most Trusted Cabinet Secretary in the latest Boses ng Bayan Index of Governance (IOG) Trust and Performance Ratings.

This recognition reflects the Filipino people's confidence in a leader whose governance is anchored on results, integrity, and genuine public service.

Under Secretary Estrella's leadership, the Department of Agrarian Reform has consistently surpassed its major program targets, accelerating land distribution, strengthening support services for Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs), and fast-tracking the implementation of the New Agrarian Emancipation Act (RA 11953) bringing meaningful reforms to farming communities across the country.

The trust reposed in him is likewise evident in the confidence of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., who has repeatedly designated Secretary Estrella as Caretaker of the Office of the President during the President's official overseas missions a responsibility reserved for leaders who have earned the President's confidence and demonstrated dependable stewardship.

Secretary Estrella continues to inspire the entire DAR family through his hands-on leadership, decisive action, and unwavering commitment to ensuring that agrarian reform delivers not only land ownership but also lasting opportunities and improved lives for every Agrarian Reform Beneficiary.

Saksihan ang istorya sa paningkamot sa Mauswagon Agrarian Reform Community Cooperative (MARCCO), nga nahimutang sa Lower Usogan, Bonifacio, isip usa ka lig-ong katuwang sa DAR Misamis Occidental sa pagkab-ot sa kalambuan. Dili lang kini yano nga istorya sa pangabuhian, kondili usa ka testimonya kung giunsa pagbag-o ang dagan sa kinabuhi sa daghang pamilya tungod sa hiniusang paningkamot ug sa tiunay nga suporta gikan sa atong gobyerno.

Pinaagi sa mga programa sa suporta sa Department of Agrarian Reform, ang mga gipangandoy sa MARCCO nahimo nang tinuod nga kalamboan karon. Nagpamatuod kini nga basta magkauban ang dedikasyon sa mga organisasyon ug ang saktong tabang sa DAR, mas sayon ug mas paspas makab-ot ang mas hayag ug mas malungtarong ugma alang sa tanang mag-uuma sa atong probinsya.

July 6, 2026 – A shared commitment to empowering young storytellers and promoting agrarian reform advocacy took center stage as the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Provincial Office of Misamis Occidental paid a courtesy visit to the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 (𝐔𝐍𝐌). During the meeting, 𝐎𝐈𝐂-𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐏𝐎 𝐈 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐌. 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐫 assured UNM 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐨 𝐄. 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐉𝐫., 𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐎 𝐕, of DAR Misamis Occidental’s full support for the institution’s participation in this year’s PelikulAgraryo: DAR Central and Regional Film Festival (DARCRFF) 2026.

Recognizing the power of film as a platform for education and social awareness, President Manuel expressed his strong support for the initiative and affirmed UNM’s readiness to take part in the competition. The engagement underscored the growing partnership between DAR and UNM, united in their goal of inspiring creativity, amplifying agrarian reform narratives, and encouraging the youth to become advocates for meaningful change through storytelling.

PROJECT SPLIT | 2nd Quarter Assessment

The Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office of Misamis Occidental successfully conducted the 2nd Quarter Assessment of Field Validation, Re-documentation, and Technical Support Activities under Project SPLIT on June 29–30, 2026, at Seabreeze Resort, Sapang Dalaga, Misamis Occidental.

𝐎𝐈𝐂-𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐏𝐎 𝐈 and 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐏𝐎 for the Land Tenure Security Program (𝐋𝐓𝐒𝐏) 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐌. 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐫 provided guidance on the status and disposition of landholdings assigned to the Re-documentation and Completion Teams (RCT), Field Validation Teams (FVT), and Municipal Technical Support (MTS) personnel to support the effective achievement of Project SPLIT targets and ensure the timely implementation of field activities.

𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐏𝐎 𝐈𝐈 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐌. 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨, 𝐉𝐫., 𝐂𝐏𝐀 contributed valuable recommendations and strategic interventions during the discussions, focusing on addressing implementation bottlenecks and improving team performance to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of Project SPLIT targets across all municipalities.

Also present during the assessment were 𝐏𝐂𝐀𝐎 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐓. 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬 and the Project SPLIT focal persons from the cities and municipalities of Misamis Occidental, namely 𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐏𝐎 𝐄𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐍. 𝐄𝐫𝐨𝐲, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐈𝐈 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐌. 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐨, 𝐀𝐑𝐏𝐎 𝐈𝐈 𝐀𝐢𝐝𝐚 𝐅. 𝐉𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧, 𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐏𝐓 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐑. 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥, 𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐉. 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧, 𝐀𝐑𝐏𝐎 𝐈 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐌. 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐑𝐏𝐓 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐂. 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐝, who took part in the evaluation of accomplishments, discussion of implementation issues, and planning of interventions to sustain the timely delivery of Project SPLIT targets.

The assessment serves as a vital platform for evaluating progress, identifying challenges, and strengthening coordination among project implementers, reaffirming DAR's commitment to the successful implementation of Project SPLIT and the accelerated delivery of land tenure services to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs).
