Ang Aklatang Lungsod ng Maynila ay nakikiisa sa National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) at sa buong bansa sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng mga Katutubong Pamayanan ngayong Oktubre na may temang “Mga Katutubo at Katutubong Dunong: Pahalagahan, Pangalagaan, at Parangalan”, at ika-27 anibersaryo ng pagpapatibay ng Indigenous Peoples Rights Act (IPRA) o Batas ukol sa Karapatan ng mga Katutubo!

Magsama-sama tayo sa pagbibigay-pugay at pagpapalakas sa ating mga Katutubong Pamayanang Kultural, at sa paggunita ng mahalagang batas sa kanilang mga karapatan.
