Lacson and Aragon street in Sta. Cruz, Manila, bears the official name, known as “VALERIANO E. FUGOSO LIBRARY” per Manila City Council Resolution No. 4, authored by Councilor Joseph Y. Lopez, also of the 3rd District. The two-storey library building was inaugurated in the year 1994 with no less than the Hon. Congressman Leonardo B. Fugoso cutting the ceremonial ribbon and the then Vice Mayor Lito Atienza, Jr., representing Mayor Alfredo S. Lim as the guest of honor.
