e, Laguna (The Carving Capital of the Philippines and also known as Paete, Bayang Maka-sining), we offer our tourists the following itinerary and charges pursuant to Resolution No. 079 s. 2012 of the Hon. JAMES THE APOSTLE PARISH CHURCH-One of the national treasures in the Philippines.Paete was founded in 1580 by the Rev. Juan de Plasencia. Its stone church and convent was built in 1646, were ruined before 1717. The Rev. Francisco dela Fuente, O. F.M., constructed a stronger church in 1717 which was later destroyed by the earthquake of of 1880. The church which the Rev. Pedro Galiano, O.F.M. built in 1884 was destroyed by the earthquake of August 20, 1937.

Actual carving of fruits and vegetables with finished products on display. There will also be a hands on demo for students plus carved fruits will be given to students who will answer
correctly in the Q & A portion. The amount of the demo costs only
Php 1,400.00. PAPIER MACHE DEMO-
Actual papier mache making with hands on experience for students who are willing to try this demo. The charge is only Php 400.00. WOOD CARVING DEMO-
Actual wood carving with a hands on experience for students who want to try wood carving. The costs of this demo is only Php 400.00. We suggest that the maximum number of students per demo is only 150 pax so that they will be able to witness and appreciate the obra maestra of our carvers.
