“1SBn Joins During 57th Araw ng Pagadian Civic–Military Parade”

KMCLS, Labangan, ZDS – June 21, 2026 – In the celebration of the 57th Araw ng Pagadian, personnel of the 1st Signal (SEPMER PRIMUS) Battalion, Signal Regiment, Philippine Army under the leadership of LTC ALFEO R AMAYUN JR SC (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer, participated in the Civic-Military Parade on 21 June 2026 held at Pagadian City.

The activity was spearheaded by MAJ GLENN V MOLINA (SC) PA, Battalion Executive Officer, together with the personnel of 1SBn, as part of the unit’s continued support to significant civic and community events.

The parade served as a symbol of unity, patriotism, and strong collaboration between the military, local government, and the people of Pagadian. Through its participation, 1SBn reaffirmed its commitment not only to its mission of providing reliable communications support but also to strengthening civil-military relations and fostering community solidarity.

On June 21, 2026 (10:30 AM), the unit also took part in the Signing of Commitment, signifying its steadfast support and commitment to strengthening cooperation with the local government and other stakeholders in promoting peace, development, and public service in Pagadian City, held at Rizal ASENSO Covered Court, Gatas District, Pagadian City.

The 1st Signal Battalion remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering responsive C4S support and advancing mission readiness in service to the Filipino people.

“1SBn showcases the C4S Capabilities During 57th Araw ng Pagadian Static and Kinetic Display”

KMCLS, Labangan, ZDS – June 21, 2026 – In the celebration of the 57th Araw ng Pagadian, personnel of the 1st Signal (SEPMER PRIMUS) Battalion, Signal Regiment, Philippine Army, spearheaded by LTC ALFEO R AMAYUN JR SC (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer, participated in the 5-day Static Display and Kinetic from 17 to 21 June 2026 held at Rizal Park, City Hall Complex, Gatas District, Pagadian City.

The activity highlighted the battalion’s operational capabilities, particularly its C4S (Command and Control, Communications, and Cyber System) capabilities, through static display, exhibits, and demonstrations showcasing communication equipment, signal systems, and mission-essential technologies that support military operations and command effectiveness.

The display provided the public with a better understanding of the battalion’s vital role in ensuring reliable communications, enhancing operational readiness, and supporting peace and security efforts. It also strengthened civil-military relations by fostering community engagement, promoting patriotism, and showcasing the professionalism and dedication of the unit’s personnel.

On June 21, 2026 (04:30 PM), the unit received a Certificate of Appreciation with Hon. Samuel S, Co – City Mayor of Pagadian City, Ms Priscilla Ann "Ilang-Ilang" F. Co–wife, Hon. Lance Samuel F. Co–City Councilor and other City Officials, during the culmination of Static Display and Kinetic held at Rizal Park, City Hall Complex, Gatas District, Pagadian City.

1SBn Joins the Celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day

KMCLS, Labangan, ZDS – June 12, 2026 – The 1st Signal (SEMPER PRIMUS) Battalion, led by MAJ GLENN V MOLINA (SC) PA, Executive Officer, joins in the commemoration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day held at Pagadian City Hall, Zamboanga del Sur.

The said activity was hosted by Mayor Sammy Co, Pagadian City Mayor, with MGEN YEGOR REY P BARROQUILLO JR PA, Commander of the 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division, as the guest of honor and speaker. The celebration was participated by the different agencies, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), National Government Agencies (NGAs), Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), Regional Directors, Barangay Officials, members of the City Tourism Council, and City Government employees. The gathering highlighted their unwavering support and shared commitment to honoring the nation’s freedom, unity, and patriotism.

This collaboration helped strengthen camaraderie, cooperation, and meaningful connections among participating agencies and stakeholders, fostering the spirit of unity, volunteerism, and good Samaritan values in service to the community and the nation.

1SBn Enhancing Computer and Printer Repair Skills

KMCLS, Labangan, ZDS – June 11, 2026 – The 1st Signal (SEMPER PRIMUS) Battalion, under the leadership of LTC ALFEO R AMAYUN JR SC (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer in partnership with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) successfully conducted a Computer and Printer Repair Maintenance Training on 10–11 June 2026 aimed at enhancing the technical knowledge and practical skills of its personnel in computer and printer troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.

The two-day training featured comprehensive lectures and hands-on practical exercises covering computer hardware components, printer parts, common technical issues, troubleshooting procedures, repair techniques, and proper maintenance practices to ensure operational efficiency and prolong ICT equipment.

The battalion was honored to have Mr. Jabar N. Tarabuco, Trainer/Assessor of the Electrical and Electronics Sector from the TESDA Provincial Office – Zamboanga del Sur, as the Subject Matter Expert (SME). Through his expertise and extensive experience, participants gained valuable insights and practical knowledge essential to performing technical repair and maintenance tasks effectively.

This training reflects the unit’s commitment to developing competent, technically capable personnel who can adapt to evolving technological demands and contribute to the overall mission readiness of the battalion and the Signal Unit as a whole.

Visit of LTC RONALD E DACAWI INF (GSC) PA, Acting Commanding Officer, 1st CMO, Battalion, Philippine Army

KMCLS, UPPER PULACAN, LABANGAN, ZDS –The 1st Signal (Semper Primus) Battalion, Signal Regiment, Philippine Army, spearheaded by LTC ALFEO R AMAYUN JR SC (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer, warmly welcomed LTC RONALD E DACAWI INF (GSC) PA, Acting Commanding Officer, 1st CMO, Battalion, Philippine Army during his visit on 26 May 2026.

The visit strengthened coordination and partnership between units in support of effective communication and Civil-Military Operations initiatives in line with mission accomplishment.

During the engagement, both units reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing communication support, information dissemination, and partnership-building activities geared toward mission accomplishment and the promotion of peace and security within the area of responsibility.

The visit concluded with strengthened camaraderie and coordination between the 1st Signal Battalion and the 1st Civil-Military Operations Battalion, reaffirming their shared commitment to operational excellence and continued support to the 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division, Philippine Army.

1st Signal Battalion Receives Command Plaque Award during 1ID 90th Founding Anniversary

KMCLS, UPPER PULACAN, LABANGAN, ZDS – The 1st Signal (Semper Primus) Battalion, Signal Regiment, Philippine Army, under the leadership of LTC ALFEO R AMAYUN JR SC (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer, received a Command Plaque Award on 22 May 2026 during the Awarding Ceremony in connection with the 90th Founding Anniversary of the 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division, Philippine Army, held at the TABAK Wellness Center.

The recognition highlights the unit’s dedication, professionalism, and commitment in carrying out its mission and delivering effective communications support in pursuit of organizational goals and mission accomplishment.
