Balintawak, Pagadian City.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 || The Pagadian City Central Fire Station under the leadership of 𝑭𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑬𝑫𝑺𝑬𝑳𝑳𝑬 𝑬 𝑴𝑨𝑵𝑶𝑮𝑼𝑹𝑨, 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹/ 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳, 𝗦𝗥𝗨 𝗥-𝗜𝗫 together with the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal Zamboanga del Sur headed by 𝙁𝙎𝙐𝙋𝙏 𝙇𝙐𝘾𝙄𝙊 𝙋 𝘼𝙇𝘽𝘼𝙍𝘼𝘾𝙄𝙉, 𝘿𝙎𝘾,𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙡, actively participated in the the Simultaneous 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 with the theme “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman” held at Zamboanga del Sur National High School (ZDNHS), Junior High School Grounds, Sta. Maria District, and Pagadian City Pilot School, San Jose Heights, Pagadian City.

This annual program, spearheaded by the Department of Education (DepEd), brings together teachers, parents, students, and community partners to prepare schools for the upcoming academic year. The participation of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) highlights its commitment not only to fire safety but also to community service and youth development.

During the activity, the fire station personnel joined in clean‑up drives, minor repairs, and safety inspections, ensuring that classrooms and facilities are conducive to learning. Their involvement also reinforced the importance of disaster preparedness, fire prevention awareness, and civic responsibility among students and stakeholders.

Fire Safety Tips #1

If your frying pan catches fire while cooking, never pour water on the flames. Water can cause burning oil to explode outward and spread the fire. Instead, turn off the heat and carefully cover the frying pan with its lid to smother the flames by cutting off the oxygen supply. Keep the lid on until the frying pan has completely cooled.

This simple action—cover, don't splash—can prevent a minor cooking accident from turning into a serious kitchen fire.

01 JUNE 2026 | 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗚 𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗬

The Pagadian City Central Fire Station under the leadership of 𝑭𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑬𝑫𝑺𝑬𝑳𝑳𝑬 𝑬 𝑴𝑨𝑵𝑶𝑮𝑼𝑹𝑨, 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙡/ 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙛, 𝙎𝙍𝙐 𝙍-𝙄𝙓 together with Tiguma and Danlugan FSS conducted its traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony. The program featured FO2 Marvin M Rodriguez, Fire Safety Inspector (FSI) as the Troop Information and Education Speaker.
As part of the program, SFO4 Ernest Joy Q Beboso, Deputy City Fire Marshal, delivered his message reminding everyone of the importance of maintaining cleanliness—both within the station premises and in personal conduct. He also outlined the activities scheduled for the week, reinforcing the values of discipline, order, and responsibility expected of all uniformed personnel.
