| Farmer’s Festival and Technology Forum

ATI-RTC IX actively joined the Farmer’s Festival and Technology Forum held at the IZSRES-Mabini Experimental Site in Mabini, R.T. Lim, Zamboanga Sibugay. The event was graced by Dr. Cecilia N. Gascon, Director of the Bureau of Agricultural Research, who served as the keynote speaker and underscored how research drives meaningful progress in the sector. The event also highlighted the vital role of AFRREDN in bridging research and extension work, aligning efforts across agencies, and turning Learning Sites for Agriculture as dynamic spaces where innovation, enterprise, and community progress come together. Joining the team were the LSA Cooperators, who proudly displayed their quality farm products—living proof that coordinated support and proven practices lead to stronger, more sustainable livelihoods.

To further expand access to agricultural knowledge, the team also set up an IEC Kiosk featuring a wide array of Information, Education and Communication materials. These resources cover topics ranging from improved production practices and postharvest management to market linkages and available support services, giving farmers and stakeholders easy access to accurate, practical information they can use to boost their productivity and livelihoods.
