PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur โ€” The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Zamboanga del Sur, through Project SPLIT, conducted a Provincial Survey Assessment of Landholdings at the New Roxan Hotel in Pagadian City.

The activity was headed by DAR Region IX OIC Regional Director Engr. Jena C. Salaug, together with DAR Zamboanga del Sur PARPO II Engr. Norberto R. Paquingan, Project Engineer Engr. Ronald Y. Gadayngan, and Project SPLIT Consultant Julita A. Ragandang.

The assessment brought together the technical team to review landholding concerns, survey work targets and accomplishments, and the current status of survey activities.

Through open discussions and technical assessment, the team identified issues, addressed challenges, and strengthened strategies toward more accurate and efficient survey implementation.

Every map, measurement, and verified piece of information plays an important role in strengthening land administration and the effective implementation of agrarian reform.

Behind every survey is a greater purpose: better service delivery, stronger land administration, and greater opportunities for Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) and Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs).

From August 25โ€“29, 2026, DAR Media Writers and Graphic Artists gathered at the Manila Grand Opera Hotel, Metro Manila, for the Project SPLIT AI Tools Training in Multimedia Content Production.

Led by Assistant Secretary for External Affairs and Communications Operations Office, Jose Jenil C. Demorito, with resource speaker Arch. Ralph Ruiz, the training explored how AI can enhance storytelling, visual creation, and creative workflowsโ€”while keeping human judgment, accuracy, and responsibility at the heart of communication.
