The Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office (ZSPPO) successfully conducted the Traditional Monday Flag Raising and Awarding Ceremony this morning led by PLTCOL HEINZ L LEGASPI, AC, PIDMU at the Parade Ground, Camp Maj. Reginaldo C. Abelon, Lumbia, Pagadian City.

As part of the program, PLTCOL WEMERRA JEAN D SALDIA, Provincial Superintendent of the Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Internal Affairs Service (ZSPIAS), delivered the Internal Affairs Service (IAS) Announcement. It aims to reinforce discipline, integrity, accountability, and strict adherence to PNP policies among all personnel.

The ceremony served as a venue to reaffirm the organization's commitment to discipline, professionalism, and dedicated public service while recognizing the accomplishments and exemplary performance of ZSPPO personnel.

The Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Internal Affairs Service (ZSPIAS), led by PLTCOL WEMERRA JEAN D SALDIA in partnership with Saint Columban College, successfully conducted the Batch Numerous Ceremonial Dress Drilling and the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing, reaffirming a shared commitment to strengthening partnership with the academe.

This collaboration highlights the importance of fostering discipline, leadership, professionalism, and community engagement among future public servants through meaningful cooperation between law enforcement and educational institutions.

In line with the Philippine National Police's commitment to the PNP MAKADIYOS principle, the Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office (ZSPPO), under the leadership of PCOL BONIFACIO B ARAÑAS, JR., Provincial Director, participated in the regular Friday Mass held on July 17, 2026 at St. Ignatius Chapel, Camp Maj. Reginaldo C. Abelon, Lumbia District, Pagadian City. The solemn celebration served as a meaningful opportunity for personnel to pause from their daily responsibilities, reflect on their vocation, and renew their spiritual strength.

The Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Internal Affairs Service (ZSPIAS), headed by PLTCOL WEMERRA JEAN D SALDIA, also joined the Eucharistic celebration as one of its sponsors, demonstrating the office’s unwavering support for initiatives that foster faith, moral integrity, and spiritual development within the police organization.
The Holy Mass was attended by Catholic personnel from the Provincial Headquarters, National Support Units (NSUs), camp-based offices, and other members of the faithful within Camp Abelon. Their collective participation underscored the importance of unity and spiritual nourishment in strengthening the values that guide them in the performance of their sworn duties.

As one of the regular religious activities of the ZSPPO, the Friday Mass continues to promote spiritual well-being, reinforce ethical values, and cultivate resilience among personnel amid the demands of police service.
