👁️💙 SDO QUEZON AND IPHO QUEZON JOIN FORCES TO ADVANCE PERSONNEL HEALTH AND WELLNESS

Promoting healthier personnel and a stronger workplace, the Schools Division Office of Quezon, through its School Health Section, successfully conducted the Sight Saving Month and Health and Wellness Caravan for SDO Personnel in partnership with the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) Medical Team, Quezon Medical Center and IPAO.

The initiative brought essential health services closer to selected SDO personnel, enabling them to monitor their well-being, undergo preventive screenings, consult health professionals, and receive appropriate medical advice and available medications. Through this collaborative effort, SDO Quezon reaffirmed that caring for the people behind the delivery of quality basic education is essential to building a healthy, safe, and supportive workplace.

The services provided included:

🩺 Medical consultation with the Medical Officer
👁️ Vision screening
🩸 Blood examinations/work-ups
🫁 Chest X-ray (CXR)
🎀 Breast examination
🌸 Cervical examination
💊 Provision of available medicines and drugs as prescribed by the Medical Officer

The activity gave personnel valuable opportunities to monitor their health, undergo appropriate screenings, seek medical advice, and receive necessary interventions and available medications.

More than a health caravan, this initiative reflects SDO Quezon’s continuing commitment to personnel welfare and workplace wellness. It recognizes that the delivery of quality basic education is strengthened when the people behind the service are cared for and empowered to prioritize their health.

Indeed, the activity was a meaningful and impactful initiative for the health and wellness of our personnel, demonstrating our shared commitment to building a healthier, more caring, and more resilient workplace.

Schools Division of Quezon Joins 126th PCSA Celebration

“Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan”

The Schools Division of Quezon joined the celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) by participating in the simultaneous signing of the Lingkod Bayani Commitment Wall during the Flag Raising Ceremony.

Anchored on the theme “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan,” the activity reaffirmed the commitment of teaching and non-teaching personnel to uphold Puso sa Serbisyo, Dangal sa Tungkulin, at Galing sa Paglilingkod.

More than a signature, each pledge represents a promise to serve with heart, integrity, and excellence—embodying the spirit of every Lingkod Bayani dedicated to building a better nation through meaningful public service.

Sa harap ng insidente ng karahasan sa mga paaralan, batid natin na kailangan ang mas maagap na aksyon—hindi lamang matapos ang insidente, kundi upang maiwasan ito.

Patuloy na pinaiigting ng DepEd ang mga polisiya at programang naglalayong protektahan ang bawat mag-aaral at ang buong school community.

Ngunit hindi ito kayang gawin ng isang ahensya lamang. Kailangan ang sama-samang pagkilos ng mga ahensya, LGUs, paaralan, pamilya, at buong komunidad.

Kaya itinutulak ng DepEd ang Joint School Safety Task Force kasama ang DILG at PNP, upang palakasin ang koordinasyon at agarang tugunan ang mga safety gaps.
