The Pagudpud Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), together with the Pagudpud Emergency Response Team of the Municipality of Pagudpud, successfully conducted the Third Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) and Emergency Response Static Display at Pasaleng National High School.

As part of the activity, the Pagudpud Emergency Response Team showcased an Emergency Response Static Display, featuring essential rescue equipment, emergency response tools, and resources used in actual disaster and emergency operations.

The activity aimed to strengthen earthquake preparedness, promote proper emergency response, and provide students and school personnel with practical knowledge on disaster preparedness and lifesaving skills.

Through demonstrations, hands-on learning, and simulated emergency scenarios, participants were reminded that preparedness starts with knowledge, practice, and teamwork.

The Rescue Roadshow 2026 brought together enthusiastic participants from different schools for an engaging and meaningful experience focused on disaster preparedness, emergency response, first aid, and lifesaving skills.
More than just a roadshow, it was an opportunity for our students to learn, participate, and discover that everyone has a role to play in keeping our communities safe and resilient.

The MDRRMO Office of Pagudpud successfully conducted three batches of the Search and Rescue (SAR) Training from July 27 to August 5, 2026.

The training equipped participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in emergency response, rescue operations, teamwork, and disaster preparedness. Through these sessions, participants strengthened their capabilities and gained valuable experience in responding effectively to emergencies and disasters.

The successful conduct of the three batches reflected our continued commitment to building a more capable, resilient, and response-ready community.

We extended our sincere appreciation to all participants, facilitators from BFP Ilocos Norte - Special Rescue Force , and partner agencies whose dedication and support contributed to the success of this important activity.

Together, we strengthened our capacity to protect lives and serve our community.
