The Community-Based Monitoring System - Coordinating Board (CBMSCB) convened in a meeting, presided by the Chairperson, Hon. Mayor Rafael Ralph L. Benemerito, attended by Department/Unit Heads, SB Members, uniformed personnel, academe, CSOs, the DILG and was facilitated by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) personnel (Vice Chairperson) Mrs. Editha Jaramilla and staff last January 15, 2024 at the Sanggunian Bayan Session Hall, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte.
Discussed during the meeting was the importance of CBMS in establishing data collection, data sharing, and information management systems that will generate relevant statistics, responsibilities of committee, assistance needed by PSA from the LGU, security, health support and comprehensive analysis for needs prioritization at higher levels that will complement and supplement the local level.
Guided by the expertise of the Phil. Statistics Authority, the session unfolded as collaborative endeavor, setting the stage for unified efforts in community development and date management.
The meeting ended with a photo opportunity as this is the first CBMSCB meeting of thr municipality.
