​The Municipality of Palapag officially kicked off the art festivities for its 441st Founding Anniversary with the successful opening of "Pagsirak," the 6th ALOP Art Exhibit, yesterday, August 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Palapag Marketienda.

​Organized by the Art League of Palapag (ALOP) in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Palapag, this year's exhibit theme, "Pagsirak" (meaning "sunrise" or "shining through"), highlights the brilliant creativity, cultural heritage, and artistic spirit of the local community.

​The exhibit opening marks the start of a two-week celebration running from August 5 to 18, 2026. Visitors, art enthusiasts, and locals can look forward to engaging featured activities throughout the display duration, including:

​ALOP Art Jam – Live interactive art sessions celebrating collective community talent.
​Surat Palapag Workshop – A specialized cultural workshop dedicated to preserving local traditional scripts and heritage typography.

* Pwede pumalit la t-shirt, dire po ak ma dalagan.
* gin sugo ak san ako patod adto sa manila, kon pwede daw sya pumalit t-shirt, souvenir la kuno nya.
* Pwede dire na mag fill-up registration form, t-shirt la ak habol.
