Nagsagawa ng random drug testing ang Brooke’s Point District Jail sa Palawan sa pamamagitan ng Health Unit nito, kung saan lahat ng resulta ng pagsusuri sa mga personnel ay nagnegatibo.

Layunin ng aktibidad na mapanatili ang isang lugar ng trabaho na malaya sa ilegal na droga, mapalakas ang disiplina, at matiyak na handa ang mga tauhan sa pagtupad ng kanilang mga tungkulin.

Bahagi rin ito ng patuloy na pagsisikap ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) na mapanatili ang integridad, pananagutan at ligtas na kapaligiran sa paghahatid ng mga serbisyo sa mga piitan.

BROOKE’S POINT DISTRICT JAIL CONDUCTS RANDOM DRUG TESTING FOR PERSONNEL

Brooke’s Point District Jail, through its Health Unit, conducted random drug testing among its personnel, with all test results returning negative.

The activity aims to promote a drug-free workplace, uphold discipline and professionalism, and ensure that all personnel remain fit to perform their duties and responsibilities.

This initiative also reinforces the commitment of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) to maintaining integrity, accountability, and a safe and healthy working environment in the delivery of jail services.

Through continuous monitoring and preventive measures, Brooke’s Point District Jail remains steadfast in promoting a culture of discipline, responsibility, and public service excellence.

This activity is under the supervision of JCINSP SANTIAGO B BUMOLYAD JR, Acting District Jail Warden/Provincial Administrator-BJMP Palawan Province, with the guidance of JSSUPT DEOGRACIAS F DE CASTILLO, DSC, Regional Director, BJMPRO-MIMAROPA.

Nagsagawa ang Bureau of Jail management and Penology (BJMP) Brooke’s Point District Jail ng information drive na “Know Your BJMP” at Jail Officer 1 recruitment para sa mga fourth-year students ng Palawan State University–Brooke’s Point Campus.

Layunin ng aktibidad na ipaliwanag sa mga graduating students ang tungkulin ng BJMP at ang mga oportunidad at proseso ng pagpasok bilang Jail Officer 1.

Binigyang-diin din ng ahensya ang papel nito sa pangangalaga, rehabilitasyon at repormang pangkaunlaran ng mga Persons Deprived of Liberty.

Isinagawa ang aktibidad bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng ika-15 BJMP Community Relations Service Month upang hikayatin ang mga kwalipikadong graduate na pumasok sa serbisyo publiko.

BJMP BROOKE’S POINT DISTRICT JAIL CONDUCTS “KNOW YOUR BJMP” AND JO1 RECRUITMENT INFORMATION DRIVE AT PALAWAN STATE UNIVERSITY BROOKE'S POINT CAMPUS

In line with the celebration of the 15th BJMP Community Relations Service (CRS) Month, BJMP Brooke’s Point District Jail conducted an Information Drive Campaign on “Know Your BJMP” and Jail Officer 1 Recruitment for the fourth-year students of Palawan State University – Brooke’s Point Campus. The activity was held at the campus covered gymnasium.

The initiative aimed to raise awareness among graduating students about the mandate, functions, and responsibilities of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), while providing essential information on career opportunities and the recruitment process for aspiring Jail Officers 1.

Through this activity, the jail unit highlighted the vital role of BJMP in ensuring the safekeeping and development of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL), as well as in promoting their rehabilitation, reformation, and successful reintegration into the community.

Furthermore, the information drive encouraged qualified graduates to consider a career in public service and become part of the Bureau’s continuing mission of changing lives and building a safer nation.

This initiative underscores BJMP Brooke’s Point District Jail’s commitment to strengthening community partnerships, promoting responsible communication, and engaging the youth through meaningful information and recruitment campaigns in celebration of the 15th BJMP CRS Month.

| BROOKE’S POINT MADAC DONATES DRUG TEST KITS TO BJMP BROOKE’S POINT

Nagkaloob ang Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) ng Brooke’s Point, Palawan, ng 200 pirasong drug test kits sa Brooke’s Point District Jail nitong ng araw ng Martes, Oktubre 20, 2026, sa New Municipal Lobby, Barangay TubTub, Brooke's Point, Palawan, bilang suporta sa mga programa at inisyatiba para sa pag-iwas at pagkontrol sa ilegal na droga. Ang pagkakaloob na ito ay bahagi ng patuloy na pagsisikap ng Pamahalaang Bayan na palakasin ang mga hakbangin laban sa ilegal na droga at isulong ang kaligtasan ng komunidad.

Pormal na ipinagkaloob ang mga drug test kits sa pangunguna ni MADAC Focal Person, Muksin III H. Ibrahim, kasama si OIC Mayor Konsehal Stalwart Joseph M. Benedito, na tinanggap naman ni JCINSP Santiago B. Bumolyad, Jr., Acting Jail Warden ng Brooke’s Point District Jail.

Sa pamamagitan ng inisyatibang ito, inaasahang makatutulong ang mga ipinagkaloob na kagamitan sa pagsuporta sa mga kaugnay na programa ng pasilidad sa pag-iwas at pagkontrol sa ilegal na droga. Patuloy namang isinusulong ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Brooke’s Point, sa pangunguna ni Mayor Cesareo R. Benedito, Jr., ang pakikipagtulungan sa mga kinauukulang ahensiya upang mapalakas ang mga programa para sa isang ligtas, maayos, at drug-free na pamayanan.
