"Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?" Now this is what the Lord Almighty says: "Consider your ways..."
🎯 Main Message: Realigning Our Priorities for God’s Glory
This Sunday, our church family walked through the powerful message of the prophet Haggai. Written to a community that had returned from exile but grown distracted by their own personal pursuits, Haggai’s message serves as a timeless wake-up call: When we put God’s Kingdom first, He takes care of the rest.
It’s easy to let life’s busy routines—our careers, family duties, and personal goals—slowly push our devotion to the back burner. But God gently yet firmly calls us back with three challenging steps:
Consider Your Ways (Haggai 1:5–7): Take an honest look at where your time, energy, and resources are going. Are you pouring everything into temporary things while neglecting your walk with God and His church?
Be Strong and Do the Work (Haggai 2:4): Obedience isn't just a good intention—it requires action. We are called to step up and serve in faith, even when the task seems small or overwhelming.
Rest in His Presence & Promise (Haggai 2:5): "I am with you, declares the Lord." We do not labor in our own strength; God’s Holy Spirit is present with us every step of the way.
