Though faith begins in the heart and is known fully by God, Christ has also given His Church visible signs that proclaim an invisible grace.
If you desire to profess or renew your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, come and declare before the world what God has done within you. Through water baptism, we publicly testify that we have been united with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3–4). Through Holy Communion, we continue to visibly proclaim His sacrificial death until He comes, nourishing our souls by faith as members of His covenant people (1 Corinthians 11:26).
These sacred ordinances do not save us, but they are God-ordained means by which believers confess, remember, and participate in the gospel promises of Christ. Invisible faith is made visible through joyful obedience.
Come, therefore, and be one with Christ—publicly identifying with His cross, His covenant, and His Church. Let the world see that you belong to Jesus.
“For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.” — 1 Corinthians 11:26
