Palayan City proudly joins the celebration of 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 with the theme, “𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦.”

This year’s celebration emphasizes the transformative power of digital innovation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in creating a more dynamic, inclusive, sustainable, and future-ready tourism industry.

Under the leadership and continued support of 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗶 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗝. 𝗖𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘀, the City Government of Palayan remains committed to advancing tourism development, strengthening partnerships with tourism stakeholders, empowering local communities, and promoting Palayan City as a growing tourism destination.

Through the 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, in collaboration with various offices, partners, and tourism stakeholders, a month-long Calendar of Activities has been prepared:

Today, August 30, 2026, Palayan City witnessed an extraordinary celebration of courage, endurance, and determination as the 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗯𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗲 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮 𝗘𝗰𝗶𝗷𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 officially 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗳𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Carrying the powerful tagline “𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭,” runners from across the Philippines came to Palayan City to challenge its elevation, conquer its roads, and experience the scenic landscapes that make the city a unique destination for running and sports tourism.

From the 𝟰𝟮𝗞𝗠 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟭𝗞𝗠, 𝟭𝟬𝗞𝗠, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟱𝗞𝗠 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, every kilometer became a testament to perseverance.

And when the rain came, they ran anyway.

Because no weather could stop the determination of those who came to conquer the ascent.

The Palayan City Tourism Office extends its sincere appreciation to 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗶 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗝. 𝗖𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘀 for her unwavering support for tourism and for championing initiatives that showcase Palayan City as a destination for sports, adventure, and tourism.

We are looking for individuals who:

✅ Are willing to become community guides/tour guides within Palayan City;
✅ Have skills, experience, or background relevant to community guiding and tourism; and
✅ Are committed to promoting Palayan City and serving as accredited community guides in the future.

📌 IMPORTANT: Only three (3) prospective participants will be endorsed by the LGU Palayan City Tourism Office. LGU endorsement does not guarantee confirmed participation, as all nominees will undergo evaluation and selection by the Provincial Tourism Office of Nueva Ecija.

The Department of Tourism Region III will be conducting the Filipinization Branding Training on September 2-3, 2026 in the Province of Pampanga. This two-day endeavor is meant to integrate the rich and vibrant Filipino culture into the Philippine Tourism Industry.
