🔎 Narito ang karaniwang modus:
1️⃣ Tatawagan, i-eemail, o i-te-text ka upang umano’y tulungan sa eGovPH app registration.
2️⃣ Hihikayatin kang mag-download ng pekeng (spoof) eGovPH app.
3️⃣ Sa pekeng app, papasagutan ka ng personal na impormasyon at magpapakuha ng live selfie.

⚠️ Gagamitin ang mga impormasyong ito upang ma-access at maubos ang laman ng iyong mobile banking accounts at digital wallets.

The DICT Region 3 – Nueva Ecija Provincial Office, through the ICT Literacy and Competency Development Bureau (ILCDB) SPARK Program, in partnership with the Local Government Units of Palayan City and Talavera, Nueva Ecija, has officially kicked off the conduct of the SPARK Technical Training on General Virtual Assistance 2.0 via a hybrid setup.

This initiative allows greater accessibility and participation, enabling learners to engage both onsite and online while building essential digital skills for today’s workforce.

𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒: Wala nang Pila! DICT Pirmado na ang IRR ng E-Governance Act

Bilang katuparan sa utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na pabilisin ang mga transaksyon sa gobyerno, opisyal nang nilagdaan ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) ang Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) ng E-Governance Act, nitong ika-24 ng Marso 2026 sa Asian Development Bank (ADB) Headquarters sa Mandaluyong City.

Sa ilalim ng IRR, isusulong ang mabilis na serbisyo, simpleng proseso, ligtas na datos at transparent na serbisyong online para sa lahat ng Pilipino.

Ito na ang simula ng isang digital na pamahalaan na nakasentro sa digital na pangangailangan ng mga Pilipino.

Sa liblib na komunidad ng Zambales, mahirap ang pag-akses sa internet at limitado rin ang oportunidad sa pag-aaral, pagtatrabaho, at kabuhayan.
Utos ng Pangulo na palawakin ang internet connectivity sa mga liblib na lugar, kaya tumawid sa ilog ang DICT Regional Office 3 upang maghatid ng Free Wi-Fi for All program sa Brgy. Nacolcol, Botolan and Brgy. Buhawen, San Marcelino, Zambales. Ang dalawang barangay ay kasama sa mga lugar na nalubog sa lahar noong pumutok ang Mt. Pinatubo.

Ngayon, dahil sa libreng internet mas napapalapit ang komunidad sa kanilang pangarap at mas napapadali na ang pag-aaral ng mga estudyante, pagtuturo ng mga g**o, pagtatrabaho ng health workers, at pag-access ng mga residente sa digital services ng gobyerno.
Isang patunay ito na sa Digital Bayanihan, walang Pilipino ang maiiwan offline, saan mang sulok ng bansa.

Today, DICT Region 3 employees from the Regional Office 3 and Provincial Offices of Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Zambales, and Bataan simultaneously participated in the First Quarter 2026 Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).
As part of our commitment to safety and disaster preparedness, everyone practiced the Duck, Cover, and Hold procedure to strengthen readiness in the event of an earthquake.
Together, we continue to build a culture of preparedness and resilience.

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) implements a four-day compressed workweek schedule for its Central and Regional Offices as part of the government’s energy conservation measures, in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Work will be conducted Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, while Fridays will be observed as a no-work day, without affecting the delivery of critical government services.

DICT remains committed to ensuring efficient, uninterrupted, and responsive digital public services for the Filipino people.

WOMEN FORWARD: Lead Like the Babaylans — DICT Region 3 Kicks Off National Women’s Month with Empowerment and Wellness!

Last March 6, 2026, DICT Region 3 officially commenced its month-long celebration of the 2026 National Women’s Month with a Regional Kick-Off aimed at fostering a safer, more inclusive, and balanced workplace.

SAFE SPACES 101: The "Bawal Bastos" Law

The day began with a deep dive into Republic Act No. 11313, also known as the Safe Spaces Act. In a strong display of institutional collaboration, DICT Region 3 partnered with Bulacan State University (BulSU) - Gender and Development Center to bring expert insights to the discussion.

Our guest speaker, Atty. Nenita DC. Tuazon, LIB, LL.M., DCL, from BulSU, enlightened the team on the nuances of preventing gender-based sexual harassment in both physical and online spaces.

Participants gained valuable insights into the provisions of the law, the importance of preventing gender-based harassment, and the role of every individual in fostering a respectful and safe environment for all. The seminar also encouraged meaningful discussions, allowing participants to reflect on their shared responsibility in upholding dignity and equality in both professional and public spaces.

A TOKEN OF OUR APPRECIATION

Following the intellectual empowerment, the office took a moment to honor the incredible women of DICT Region 3. As a symbol of gratitude for their tireless dedication to ICT excellence, tokens of appreciation were distributed to all female personnel.

We recognize that our success as a regional office is built on the brilliance, strength, and grace of the women in our ranks.

SPORTS FOR WELLNESS

The afternoon was dedicated to “The Babaylan Games”—a sports-for-wellness initiative promoting work-life balance and physical health. While the activities were gender-inclusive, the spotlight remained on our women athletes during the Women’s Badminton Invitational, showcasing agility and spirit on the court, and the Mixed-Gender Basketball Exhibition, highlighting teamwork and camaraderie across all units.

This kick-off aligns with the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC) theme:
“WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society,” with the sub-theme “Lead Like the Babaylans, Filipinas!”

By combining legal education, heartfelt appreciation, and physical wellness, DICT Region 3 reaffirms its commitment to fostering a workplace that values gender equality as much as technical innovation.
