𝗠𝗣𝗗𝗢 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 3-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗪𝗦𝗦𝗠𝗣 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

𝘗𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘨, [ 𝘑𝘶𝘭𝘺 11, 20225] — The Municipal Planning and Development Office successfully carried out a comprehensive 3-day data gathering activity from July 8-10, 2025 as part of the on-going formulation of Municipal Water Supply, Sewerage, and Sanitation Master Plan (MWSSMP).

Spearheaded by the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO), in close coordination with personnel from the Municipal Engineering Office, the initiative focused on collecting vital data from all public schools—elementary, secondary, and college—as well as from barangays throughout the municipality.

This data-driven approach is a crucial step in assessing the current conditions of water supply, sanitation facilities, hygiene practices, and sewerage systems within educational institutions and local communities. The information gathered will guide the development of a responsive and inclusive MWSSMP tailored to the specific needs of Palimbang.

The activity was strongly supported by the newly installed Municipal Mayor, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝘆𝗿𝗻𝗮 𝗖. 𝗞𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮, who underscored the importance of sustainable water and sanitation services in advancing the municipality’s health, education, and development goals.

The completion of the data gathering phase marks the beginning of the next stage: analysis and plan formulation. The finalized MWSSMP will serve as a strategic roadmap for the local government in pursuing sustainable and inclusive water and sanitation services, aligned with national development goals.

𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 | The Municipal Planning and Development Office prioritizes client safety in line with Municipal Mayor Hon. Joenime Kapina 's Public Health Initiative dated May 25, 2025.

To prevent the spread of MPOX, we have taken proactive measures, including strategically placing awareness signs to inform clients about the risks and prevention strategies. Free facemasks are available, contact tracing logbook and hand sanitizing stations with alcohol are provided to encourage proper hygiene practices during transactions.

𝗦𝗶𝘅 𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 80-𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗢𝗝𝗧 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗣𝗗𝗢!

Pursuant to the Department of Education (DepEd) Order No. 30, series of 2017, which requires Senior High School students to undergo an On-the-Job Training (OJT) program, six students from Palimbang National High School and Notre Dame of Milbuk, Inc. have successfully completed their 80-hour mandatory OJT at the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) of the Municipal Government of Palimbang.

The Municipal Planning & Development Office - Palimbang (MPDO) under the leadership of Engr.Candao C. Bationg, proudly acknowledges the remarkable achievement of six Senior High School students who successfully completed their 80-hour mandatory On-the-Job Training (OJT) at the office on February 24, 2025, and February 28, 2025.

The students, namely Jam, Kyzza, Fati, Loraine, Jean, and Kaharudin, from Palimbang National High School and Notre Dame of Milbuk Inc., demonstrated exceptional dedication, perseverance, and skills as they gained hands-on experience in the office's daily operations.

In recognition of the students' outstanding performance, the MPDO personnel organized a short program to express their gratitude and appreciation for the students' hard work and commitment.

The Municipal Planning and Development office extends its sincerest gratitude to the students for choosing MPDO as their training ground. The office also commends the students' schools, Palimbang National High School and Notre Dame of Milbuk Inc., for providing competent and talented students who have demonstrated their capabilities during their OJT.

As the students embark on their future journey, the MPDO looks forward to witnessing their success and contributions to the municipality of Palimbang. The office is confident that these young individuals will become valuable assets to the community, and their experience at the MPDO will serve as a solid foundation for their future endeavors.

𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗢𝗝𝗧 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗚𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Four (4) On-the-Job Training (OJT) students from Palimbang National High School recently gained hands-on experience in zoning inspection and geotagging of government projects under the supervision of Engr. Candao C. Bationg of the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO).

The students were assigned to assist in the actual zoning inspection in commercial areas in Barangay Badiangon, where they learned about the importance of enforcing zoning regulations.

In addition, the students also participated in geotagging ongoing government projects in Barangays Tibuhol and Mina, gaining valuable insights into project monitoring and management.

Engr. Bationg expressed his appreciation for the students' enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. "We are happy to share our expertise and provide these students with a meaningful learning experience," he said.

The MPDO’s partnership with Palimbang National High School aims to equip students with practical skills and knowledge for their future careers.

𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝘄𝗼-𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗢𝗝𝗧 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗣𝗗𝗢.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Six senior high school students are currently halfway through a valuable two-week on-the-job training (OJT) program at the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Palimbang. Four students from Palimbang National High School (PNHS) and two from Notre Dame of Milbuk, Inc. (NDMI) are gaining practical experience in municipal planning and development.

The students are actively involved in assisting MPDO staff with tasks such as data collection, report preparation, and project planning. They are receiving guidance and mentorship from experienced MPDO personnel throughout their two-week placement through the Leadership of Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, Engr. Candao C. Bationg.

This OJT program exemplifies the strong collaboration between the LGU and local schools, providing students with practical skills and contributing to the development of future professionals within the Palimbang community.

With profound sadness, we, at the Municipal Planning and Development Office, extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the late Municipal Mayor of Palimbang,Hon. 𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗦 "𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱" 𝗕. 𝗠𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗨𝗔𝗟, 𝗔𝗹-𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗷. His passing is a great loss to our community, and his legacy of service and dedication will be deeply missed.

Late Mayor Samroud was the second elected Municipal Mayor of Palimbang, succeeding Hon. Datu Druz Ali, Alhadj from 1988 to 2010, leaving an indelible mark on the town's development and progress. His leadership and commitment to the people of Palimbang will forever be remembered.
