In line with the observance of the 33rd National Family Week, Malacañang has issued Memorandum Circular No. 96 suspending work in all government offices under the Executive Branch on September 22, 2025 (Monday) starting at 1:00 PM.

This shall likewise be observed in the Province of Sultan Kudarat, as we join the nation in recognizing the importance of family solidarity and togetherness.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness/response, and other vital operations will continue to perform their duties.

Other branches of government, independent bodies, and the private sector are also encouraged to observe the suspension to give Filipino families more time to celebrate this occasion together.

This initiative highlights the importance of family unity and participation in activities organized for Family Week and “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga” Day.

HRMO , Municipal Administrator together with Head offices and Stafff of LGU Palimbang and other agencies ( DepEd, Men in uniformed) for the upcoming 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary Culmination Programs in our Municipality.

The Purpose of the 125th PCSA program is to celebrate and recognize the dedication, integrity, and excellence of civil servants under the Theme' Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan".

READ | DILG Bans Online Gambling for All Personnel, LGU Officials

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has issued Memorandum Circular 2025-082 prohibiting all DILG personnel, employees of its attached agencies, and all elected and appointed local government officials from accessing online gambling platforms or engaging in any form of online gambling.

The directive, in line with the 1987 Constitution, R.A. 6713, and existing presidential issuances, extends the existing prohibition on casino gambling to include online platforms, which the Department says pose an equal — if not greater — threat to the integrity of public service.

“Public office is a public trust. Engaging in online gambling undermines the credibility of our institutions and diverts public servants from their sworn duty to serve with integrity, competence, and loyalty,” the circular states.

Violators will face administrative and/or criminal sanctions under pertinent laws, rules, and regulations. The order takes effect immediately.
