RCSU 8 BRINGS LTOPF AND FI****MS REGISTRATION SERVICE CLOSER TO THE PUBLIC THROUGH SM CENTER ORMOC CARAVAN

PALO, LEYTE— The Regional Civil Security Unit 8 (RCSU 8) successfully conducted its License to Own and Possess Fi****ms (LTOPF) and Fi****ms Registration Assistance Caravan at the Stakeholders Assistance Center (SAC), SM Center Ormoc, providing convenient and accessible frontline services to fi***rm owners and gun enthusiasts.

A total of 47 applications were processed during the activity, consisting of 33 new LTOPF applications, nine LTOPF renewal applications, and five fi***rms registration renewal applications.

The initiative was conducted in partnership with SM Center Ormoc, the Ormoc City Police Office (OCPO), Regional Legal Office 8 (RLO 8), Regional Forensic Unit 8 (RFU 8), Regional Finance Unit 8, and Regional Medical and Dental Unit 8 (RMDU 8), with the support of PBGEN ROMANO V. CARDIÑO, Regional Director, PRO 8, and PCOL ABRAHAM D. ABAYARI, City Director, OCPO.

RCSU 8 also extends its sincere appreciation to the management of SM Center Ormoc for their invaluable partnership and support in bringing essential government services closer to the public.

The activity supports the CPNP Focused Agenda and SAFE Eastern Visayas initiative, emphasizing responsible gun ownership, compliance with fi***rms laws, crime prevention, and strengthened police-community partnership.

RCSU 8 will continue bringing these services closer to the public through its monthly caravan, conducted every first and last Saturday of the month at SM Center Ormoc.

Responsible gun ownership is a shared responsibility. Together, let us protect our families and build safer communities.
